1. Sanyaas 2. Vaanaprasth 3. Gruhasth 4. Brahmachari These are four aashrams in Sanatan Dharma. Among these Sanyas aashram is superior to the other three aashrams. A Sanyasi should never bow down to anybody other than his Sanyasi Guru and biological mother, not even to his father.
In fact Grihastha is superior to all ashrams. All ashrams are dependent on Grihastha. The students, wanderers and monks. It's only Grihastha who earns. Others were not supposed to earn money and we're sustained by Grihasthas.

But everyone bows down to a Sanyasi, because Sanyasi is the one, who leads from the front. He guides the other three Aashramas. Sanyasa is also superior because only after surrendering everything one becomes a Sanyasi. Which is also known as Vairaagya.

@@Mrranababarkhan I think you have an image considering every sadhus or yogis as a Fraud. They are teaching some good things such as our ayurveda, vedas, Gods etc. Baba ramdev treated one of my friends father from severe diseases. Hence for me he can never be like you think
