sad to see the little ones crying in their terror at being handed to strange looking people you cant help feeling sorry for them as they have no way of knowing how lucky they are.
They are both beautiful! Thank you for sharing the videos of your special day. Are Sadie & Bailey from the same province? Was the time frame very different for the adoption of one vs the other (orphanage vs foster home)? Would you mind telling me if they were on the waiting child / special needs list or regular list?
Sadie is from Jiangxi and was adopted in 2005. Bailey is from Hubei and was adopted in 2006. After adopting Sadie we knew we'd return for a second adoption but didn't realize it would be so soon (15 months later). Bailey was on a special needs list when we first saw her. She had an angioma under her armpit, which has since gone away. Sadie was in an orphanage in TaiHe (3 hours from Nanchang) and Bailey was with a foster family in Xiaogan City (about an hour from Wuhan). They are both amazing little girls!
I agree, but when we left the airport in Beijing that morning we were told we would meet our daughters the next morning. When we arrived in Nanchang airport, as we boarded transfers we were told that "our babies are on the way to the hotel." Our bags were taken to our rooms and we never had access to them until later, so we only had with us what we'd carried on. We would've been much more prepared otherwise.
They need to put the kids in a big room and let them play with each other and let the parents play with them not just hand them over to someone they not know 😢
@@DougDarbroPhD exactly!! And “poor child”?? She is going to have a wonderful life with a family out of a orphanage !! She’s scared of the new people, but she is about to have a wonderful life ❤
