trew but now it’s the last season. if a character of high value like steve, robbin, nancy, lucas, eleven, or max die it wouldn’t be a huge loss like it would be in like season two. this is the final season.
@@lizanya6433 exactly. It’s practically too late to kill of the mains now bc we won’t get to see long-term consequences of their death due to this being the last season…😕🙄
According to the behind the scenes Netflix special the Duffer Brothers stated they had already written most of season 5 by the time the hiatus was over and Max's coma is a big part of the season. They never meant for her to permanently die in episode 9. While it would have had a big impact if she had died that was never the plan.
for real this man just twisting the facts for some views. where did he ever hear about the "they cancelled it just a few before final weeks of shooting" BS.....
Honestly, this whole season is filled with just enough convenience (or ambiguity for plot convenience to follow) for happy endings and it was lowkey so annoying Like ok rip Eddie but you saw that coming as he wasn’t an og main. Everyone very quickly figured things out for victory on a whim, the mains all literally were JUST about to die and then were JUST about saved, the whole max thing (twice) and El saving her even after she died. There was enough suspense as the stakes were high but it never really built as you knew everything was going to be okay. When el brought her back, all the emotion from her death was basically undermined and it was almost an eye roll moment because it just kept being too convenient and I feel like it took away from the plot because it’s like, how do they keep winning like that… I LOVE max so I’m glad she’s not dead dead, but I also think her dying would have been way more impactful
Eleven needs way more powers than just lifting heavy things and read minds to fight a villian who basically opened a interdimensional doorways and can kill people with his mind. So she showing a new power through Max makes sense and brings hope.
I hardly watched over my husband's shoulder but even I know that she's the one that made that doorway... come on now. She obviously was more powerful than he is. That's why they were a good fight match.
@@winterrrsea1674 They meant that she is powerful, but it need to be shown somehow and showing it through Max was a good choice. Like "she needs to be more powerful to beat him and they brought the powers in in this way that makes sense", I don't know if I explained that well.
@@kkm5967 You don’t know for sure. They also didn’t know how much people would end up loving Eddie. The producers of Spider-Man said that they weren’t going to bring back the other spidermans but it still ended up happening.
This is cool but she definitely should've died in the finale... this would've been the first death that actually impacted every single character, cause damn nobody cared about Eddie dying but Dustin, nobody cared about Bob except for Joyce, nobody really cared about Hopper "dying" except for Joyce and El, Max's death was perfectly set up and it would've had a HUGE impact on everyone who knew her. Would've been good to finally see all the character feel sad about a death cause usually it's only 1 or 2 characters that show they're sad. (To clarify some confusion, when I say that "nobody cared about x character" I refer to the characters themselves. Many of us were definitely affected by these character's deaths 😕. My comment is about how usually only 1 or 2 characters actually show sadness over the deaths of these characters.)
Season 5 needs to be the final and just let the cards fall where they may. I LOVE the show and this season brought me back in the big way but it's starting to get that stale feeling of not knowing where it wants to go and once a show get's that feeling it's just over. This show deserves to go out on top
I’m glad they’re saying that no one is safe from season 5. It feels like they have really good plans and then like the actors and keep their characters around. If you don’t believe me I want you to tell me what mike, lucas, and will did in season 4 that doesn’t include the words max or el. I’m not saying to kill them, I just want them to do something interesting instead of taking up screen time in a show that’s sort of becoming bloated with characters. Still love watching it though
Hello, from Okinawa, Japan 🗾🇯🇵!! This video clip made me to thank all casts & creation team members who wanted Max to Keep her alive !! They're so amazing !! Anyway, I also thank you so much for sharing us this wonderful informative video clip !! I'm so sorry for my poor English💦
I think her dying would’ve made it a little more interesting because she did show up in season two but she’s not an original character killing Eddie now that was dumb
Even if Eddie didn’t die, he’d probably be killed, locked up, and or hated by the people in Hawkins. His death was necessary plot and development wise.
@@whoasked6696 I mean we thought the duffer brothers were smarter than killing off another character they regretted killing off so it’s not that we didn’t see it coming were just not stupid I guess 🤨
The thing is they might make her almost death even worse. they could end up just having her memory wiped so that she forgets about everyone and fact none of that but Lucas says that they can’t tell her because like I don’t know some plot point. So she ends up not liking any of them.
@@Justitia_Nomen anything is possible I guess coz it’s el and it’s just a show lol. But if she could bring her consciousness back she would have been able to find Max in her consciousness and/or bring back others who died. So yeah well that’s just me.
Ok my theory > Basically in s5 someone is about how hit dustin and kill him etc etc. and steve comes in front & sacrifices himself to save the world Obviously dustin wouldn’t stay the same after that and in future Dustin has 2 kids who he names Steve and Eddie. Because we know in s4 hawkins is split in 4 ways so steve and dustin are obviously going to work together , and originally they just kill the best characters off the show. So goodbye Steve..
I think that’s very obvious. But I think it’s annoying they didn’t have her, not because she’s a bad character or anything, since they actually made her a more likable character in 4, but because if she died (or maybe any main cast), it show just how fricking serious this is and how our heroes know that they could be next.
When max was first introduced into the story, I didn't think she was bad or anything but thought how could and in what way would the character add to the story since we already had a very good and strong cast of kids at the time. But I must say the way they wrote the script for her character was phenomenal. Like we all loved the original kids in the story, even though she was introduced later, her acting, the amazing script, made us fall in love with her character. Like she actually adds substance to the show. If the script wouldn't have be as good, then she would have been kinda one of the main character but not as strong or as loved (not Sadie the actor but max as a character). Her character became crucial to the show in such a rational way with a very natural flow. Dont know if I was able to explain it well but I tried 💀
I actually realised something when I was watching Max getting killed. When she was getting pressed by those nails Eleven stoped Vecna and Max fell on the ground and didnt end up like everyone else who died so that is maybe another proff she didnt die because everyone else was being held by those vines
I am pretty certain that max will end up dying, Stranger things is a very well written show and the Duffer brothers wouldn't add useless scenes and especially wouldn't turn it into a big deal, one of the more important and emotional scenes this season was when max made letters for everyone incase she died, it would kinda suck if he Duffer brothers would never reveal what was in the letters and therefore, max would die
It makes sense that Max's not dead and also makes sense why Eleven can't talk or see her... More than once, Vecna mentions to Eleven not to cry (about the other children) as they are "with him, inside him"... I think everyone Vecna kills got their souls "abducted" somehow by Henry and are now "part of him".... The thing is, Max is the only one who's body is not decomposed and can still technically be "resuscitated" by putting the soul back in the still living body... Now, how will they go about pulling Max's soul out of Vecna, we'll have to wait and see...
People keep confusing what Eleven did to save Max with "creating or giving life." All she did was use her telekinesis to pump and restart Max's heart. That's it. She didn't suddenly gain some new power. She, in that moment, showed an extreme amount of control over her telekinesis.
She was supposed to be killed off as well as Steve but the audience loved them so much the duffer bros kept them alive. Erica also was supposed to be a small role but again everybody loved Erica lol. It was a very smart move to keep these characters alive as a director/producer. Took the show from the middle to very far up on top.
I know her character is in a coma but even if she wakes up she is basically already dead because she is blind bones broken she doesn't has time to recover because vecna has already begin to destroy the world
No matter how relieved I was that Max survived Vecna, it would've been more impactful to have her die, just to show how relentlessly unforgiving and evil Vecna is to human suffering and human life. Everyone would be affected. It would also ensure us that we should be REALLY worried. But instead, now I'm like... "Whatever, the directors will just choose who will die no matter how unrealistic it is", which is not very exciting at all. On the other hand, it IS exciting because now we fore sure don't know who's going to live. Like, at all. Oh, and another positive thing about this is that it shows us how strong Eleven is, and that she can literally win over Vecna if she needs to, eye to eye. That's important to know before the finale, because if Eleven never fought Vecna, it might feel unrealistic if she all of a sudden just won over him by chance. Anyway, for the sake of the plot, Max should've died. But who knows what kind of arcs the directors plan for the characters next? This might build up to something even greater :)
Im glad the spared max and steve cause i dont think stranger things would be the same without them P.S please work on your titles cause ngl i was panicked before I clicked on the video SADIES MY FAV ACTOR FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
Fans actually said if their fave character (Steve) dies, they’ll start a riot, so duffer brothers pls be careful on what u choose, and Ei don’t want Steve to die, my mom just hired him to babysit me :D
I keep hearing people refer to what happened at the end with max as a "new healing/revival power" of elevens, but to me I just imagined that eleven used her telepathy power to pump her heart or other bodily functions manually. I think this works better than a new power linked to her void (wierd black soul location) abilities because we don't know the specific boundaries of what happens physically and mentally when vecna kills. Like, we don't know if Max's braindedness is because of her being incapacitated for several minutes before being revived, or of its because vecna now has control over her consciousness, or it has been erased all together. So for the people saying what happened was stupid because now it takes the stakes out of any future deaths since eleven can just revive them, I see where your coming from but I don't think it works like that. Previous deaths in the series were injuries fatal injuries, but max and possibly future deaths are uncertain as to what they physically do to kill you since you can survive multiple bone fractures and the whole eyes popping/exploding/imploding thing is also unclear. Does he kill the brain as well after the eyes and bones? Does he stop the heart manually? Is there blood loss of some kind? Maybe internal bleeding? We don't know yet and that might be why she was able to save max. That doesn't mean she could've saved everybody previously, and it doesn't mean she can save anyone in the future at any time. I don't think it's an annoying cop out to losing a character like some of you are saying, the differs know what they are doing and have said Max's condition will have fundamental impact to S5.
Honestly, its obvious the duffer brothers are scared to kill off any main characters. She really should've died in the last episode, and in a way, even tho 11 revived her. She is like one of my all-time favorite characters but it would've had such a big impact. But i dont want them to kill her in season 5, since i want to see long-term effects, and each season is like 7-9 episodes
The Source of Strength Imagine that you are watching a small child cry wanting his parents. Loving parents don't run away from the child when he cries, they run towards the cry because they recognize the child's voice. This is what God does for all his children: He hears them and comes running. When someone accepts Jesus, he becomes a child of God and is identified by his name. And the name of God is greater than any other name. The name of God carries authority and power. (Romans 10:13) The name of God is a source of refuge and strength. (Proverbs 18:10) The name of God protects all who belong to Him. (John 17:11) We can trust God's name because we know his character is impeccable and his actions faithful. The Scriptures reveal it, the resurrection of Jesus proves it, and the global Church continues to express it. Nothing can resist our God. And when we invoke his name, we are reminding ourselves of this truth. We are choosing to believe that God is stronger than our circumstances, greater than our problems, and that He will answer those who seek Him. So whatever you are facing today... know that you are not alone. God is with you, God is for you and God will never leave you. Now choose to trust that God will protect you from anything that tries to pull you away from Him. Draw close to God and allow Him to draw close to you...,,,
Most people want one character to die I feel all main characters should be severely hurt or killed because I’m tired of all the happy endings in shows that could/should have a bad ending like this one but whatever the duffers think is best is most likely the best option
i love how there isnt a ton of plot armour for characters in stranger things. Like some shows and movies arent amazing in my opinion cause you know the characters will win in the end. But no has won. Vecna executed his plan, but hes hurt. And the amazing characters like Eddie, Bob, Alexi, and max kinda werent plot armoured.
