Your stories are like the stories of my life. my best friend of many years betrayed me bad. My kids tell me go out and make a new best friend. I don't trust people enough. If God wants that person in my life he will put her there. My mom became my best friend but my parents have both passed away. So for now I have Matt and my daughters and that makes me fortunate:) Have a blessed weekend sweet lady!
The I'm so sorry you were betrayed too. It's pretty darn painful:(. It makes it hard to trust people in the now. But, God does bring beautiful people into our lives....... And we can trust Him to guide us in those relationships 🙏🏼 We can learn so much about what we want and don't want after going thru stuff like that. It's challenging sometimes to find good friends as we get older......... It's not like school where u have a bunch of people ur age all around!:( I think that's a big reason I love RU-vid! U are absolutely right! And u worded it perfectly! Yes yes yes! God places people in our lives for so many reasons..... And I can say that I've learned many things with each friendship, good and bad. I know what to teach Malloy about finding good friends, I know what to look for and what to appreciate in my friends today! God is so good! He always know just what we need:). We all have had friends that have hurt us. :( I had a friend for 7 years and he hurt me really bad and just left. He actually lives in Minnesota. We had amazing memories too and sometimes when I get exciting news, he's still the first person that I want to message and tell him about it. I never thought we would split up. But you're right, we're blessed to have our parents and other family members and of course the unending love that God gives to us. I hope you feel better soon and just remember that tomorrow is a new day! :)
Yes! I know what u mean! The friend I talked about who lives 3 blocks away...I want to call her all the time and tell her things! We had so many "inside jokes" that only she would understand....:( where in Minnesota does ur friend live??? Maybe I need to pay him a lil visit! Lol! Kidding😆. We all have days like that, and experience friendships like that. I heard a quote that every 7 years our friendships change/cycle through and if you've had a friend longer than 7 years, it will last a lifetime. Of course doesn't ALWAYS happen but usually you will find out their true colors. Having a child and being a mother, being sober- you seem like you really got your priorities in order so good for you if someone doesn't respect that you don't want that kind of person in your life anyway! It's better to know who your real friends are, we all find out eventually.
That's really unfortunate:( too much sadness and pain in our world as it is. I just wish people were more kind to each other. However!!!!!!! There are really amazing people in the world too, u just have to find them and keep them! ❤️🙏🏼😘

I have very very few friends and am almost always by myself because we have such different lives and live far from each other so I understand a lot of what you are saying. I wish I had a friend like that too. We all need that 1 friend like your mom's friend but it's so hard to meet people once we have kids. But anyway, I'm glad you are allowing yourself to feel what you feel. ♥

Awwwww Lily, leave this up. You're human and it's fine to have a moment when your sad and need to vent. It's therapeutic for you and may help someone else. There's nothing wrong with it. I'm glad you shared with us. Tomorrow is another day. See if you can ask one or so of your friends now to make a little time to do stuff together. Even as parents we still need a little time away from parenting to just be human beings. If that makes any sense. It makes us better parents to be able to get away from parenting just for a little while. Hope this helps even if its just a little bit. Love ya hun. :)

You have something on your lens. Sorry about your friend. I am the luckiest person in the world. I have 5 best friends who have been my friend 40 years. My very best friend, as close as a favorite brother passed away 3 years ago. I think about him and talk to him daily. I even continuted putting things on his FB page that I know he would like. Sometimes I forget he is gone and have to snap myself back into reality.
