does the black saeco poem coffee machine have a timer? if you fill the water tank full and you leave for five minutes, is it possible that if the cup is full then the machine will shut down on its own?

hey i have same problem.. i start my Saeco Poemia.. the current light is green , but light from coffe is not green and water is cold.. eventually which sensor is to blame ??

In this model of Saeco, with this type of boiler \ aluminum, it is very common the problem of burning the heater / it is obviously rather poor! The same model is also produced with a stainless steel water heater and a spiral heater that hangs inside and has no problem! Recognizing, at first glance, the type of boiler is that the grate bottom of the aluminum is attached to it with two screws side by side, and to the stainless one with a single waist in the middle!

Great video. My Poemia has this issue, and I assumed it was something simple like a thermal fuse. Opened mine up and the heating element was cracked, with no continuity between terminals. Very sad day, as I happen to love this little thing and this is the only problem I ever had with it. By the way, do you know if it's possible to replace the heating element (or the whole boiler) on an aluminum boiler with the old style stainless steel boiler?

Thanks for the video but this Heating element attached to the machine is also broken since it has some black DOT here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mdtPvpPp86c.html When this happens this machine literally pop like a firework once and you know that your Heating element is damaged. I am not sure how this works but maybe it short circuit somewhere above the damaged part of the aluminium. I repair my Saeco today with the same problem and mainly the problem arises when the Water hose is loose or you didn't put teflon tape when you screw the metal brass hose. When it is loosing pressure it creates low pressure point where the water droplet forms and it then drops above the heating element causing it to Pop like a firework. This is intended design by my opinion by Phillips since it is not normal to not protect the heating element from the water. This way they can sell CHEAP coffee machine and then to get more money from the parts. What a world we are living in...
