I find it difficult to ask my driving instructor questions about driving without him becoming annoyed and telling me to use my common sense :/ these videos are really helping me to learn the driving rules, so a big Thankyou!
Aw, we're sorry to hear that your driving instructor acts in that manner :( that's not fair. This is a learning period and you should be able to ask him questions freely. Though, we are happy to hear that the videos are helping! If you have any questions, let us know. :)
I had my test last week and my instructor took me once to the dual carriage way out of 22 lesson and it came in my test. Imagine the amount of rage I have for him.
Hi Francis! I’ve driven on the dual carriageway today for the first time ever!! I was shaking, tingling on my fingers and my heart was racing! Once I’ve got on the carriageway. I was calm down a bit and felt relaxed! 😁
I did a 50mph single carriageway today and I was absolutely shattered after it but the adrenaline buzz I had was unreal 😂 I was absolutely bricking it!
thank you for getting to the point and not waffling. you speak quickly but your words are succinct and get important information across. it's refreshing.
Thanks again. Passed my test with your help, but think it would be really helpful to see a few examples of dealing with traffic merging into your lane.
Just wanted to say thank you. This video helped to make crystal clear in my mind how I should be driving on a dual carriageway during my test. I was on a motorbike going for my A licence and you genuinely helped me.
Binge watching all your videos as I've recently started learning how to drive. There are a lot of maniacs on the road where I live, so it's very much like being thrown in at the deep end 🤣 I'm really enjoying it though, and these videos are helping me no end!
The dual carriageway usually scares me. This video really helped to gain a better understanding of how to approach a DC in an exam. Thank you for this! :)
I love your teaching style!! Your explanations are so easy to understand! I'm really enjoying it through, and these great videos are helping me a lot. Thank you much very for your valuable time. " GREAT TIPS" May God Bless You .
There are dual carriageways just off the test centre where I'm taking my test next week. So been on dual carriageways alot in my lessons going up to 50mph for the speed limit Which has given me so much more confidence. I will either go left at the roundabout and enter a dual carriageway or straight ahead to normal 30mph roads or right to another dual carriageway out of the test center. Im so ready for this 👍 thankyou for the upload Francis
Passed 2 months ago but I’m petrified of going on a dual carriage way or motorway, need to go on one today. I have booked a motorway lesson but it’s not until next week.
I've got my test in a month and I'm binge watching all the areas I know I need to be stronger at, I'm nervous but ik this can be a touchy subject but I CAN drive just not legally, i'm learning in a manual but I know full well the second I pass I'm getting a auto 🤣
I have seen lots of learners and in this occasion the driving instructor has got this wrong with seconds distance. Dry conditions 2 seconds, Rain/wet 4 Seconds, Ice or Snow 20 seconds (ten times more than on dry not ten seconds)
The left lane isn't the slowest lane. Lane 1 could be moving faster than other lanes. The speed limit is the same for all lanes unless stated otherwise.
Thought the separation distance in icy conditions was 10x the normal separation distance? That would be 10 x 2 seconds, making it 20 seconds not 10 seconds
i like the mentioning of checking the blindspot if theres more than 2 lanes. So if there are 2 lanes, is it not necessary to check the blindspot? what if theres a car next to you in your blindspot which you havent seen in the mirror?
You will see them in your mirror if there is a car next to you in the lane beside you. The right blindspot check is for cars that are 2 lanes away from you.
How should drivers on the dusl carriageway behave if a vehicle is coming down the slip road? I was taught to move over or slow down but drivers don't do that anymore. I've had to join a dual carriageway from 0mph on numerous occasions & now people are telling me, "It isn't safe to slow down." Am I wrong for slowing down to allow people in or should I be accelerating as fast as possible past the joining car? Am I the only one who thinks joining a 70 mph road from 0mph is dangerous?
You are wrong with regards to the time difference between you and the car in front in icy/snowy conditions....it is not 10 seconds, it is 20 seconds....
The rule is: When driving in icy or snowy weather you should keep well back from the road user in front as stopping distances can be 10 times greater than on dry roads
Hi There is no Turkish language, I know little English, I want to watch your videos, please, I would be very happy if you put Turkish language as well. Please 🙏
