A Guide to safe operation of your ECOA Induction Cooker
Induction cookers are a great way to cook food quickly and safely. However, it is important to follow some safety tips to avoid accidents.
1. Broken glass top: If the glass top of your induction cooker is broken, do not use it. A broken glass top can cause electrical shock.
2. Open fire: Do not place the induction cooker near an open fire or in a hot environment. The heat can damage the cooker and increase the risk of fire.
3. 13 amp fuse: Make sure the plug is equipped with a 13 amp fuse before using the induction cooker.
4. Level surface: Place the induction cooker on a level surface with at least 10cm of open space around it. This will help to prevent the cooker from overheating.
5. Power cord: Do not stretch the power cord. Stretching the power cord can damage the cord and increase the risk of fire.
6. Cleaning: Do not submerge the cooker or power cord in water. If you need to clean the vents, call a service center for help. Water can damage the electrical components of the cooker and cause a shock hazard.
7. Air vents: Do not cover the air vents when cooking. The air vents are necessary to prevent the cooker from overheating.
8. Unopened tins: Do not place unopened tins on the cooker. Unopened tins can explode when heated.
9. Power cord: Do not modify the power cord. Only use the power cord that came with the cooker.
10. Empty cookware: Do not heat empty cookware on the induction cooker. Empty cookware can overheat and damage the cooker.
11. Chopping board: Do not use the glass top of the cooker as a chopping board. The glass top can break if it is hit with a hard object.
12. Medical devices: If you have a cardiac pacemaker or other medical devices in your body, consult with your doctor before using an induction cooker.
