Yes, it is possible to do safety. Stock planning using heuristic. There are primarily two ways to do that one is you input safety stock as quantity in the inventory target key figure and you take that number into Account and plans for safety Stock. The other way is to use lot sizing procedure where you define your safety, Stock in coverage or in days of coverage and accordingly calculate the safety of quantity based on the future demand and then ensures that you have in our safety stock to cover for your future demands

@@IBPLive so if I understand it right, when we input the inventory target KF, the net demand will be calculated considering this KF too and hence we can plan for safety stock too

Yes all Receipts are generated all the way to supplier

I hope the inventory target Kf is also updated. If not please update it, else we need to do a screen sharing session to nail the issue
