Great advice ! My girl is 8 and my cane corso puppy is 5 months old. From day one I taught her how to properly handle him, I encouraged her to do a lot of obedience work with him and to properly walk him on the leash. They have a strong bond and he is very protective of her. Of course as he gets older and stronger I am always near them when they interact because he can be quite clumsy when he plays.. other than that they are great together . 😊
I have a ten month corso and lots of kids around her from new born to 13 years old. Your advice at 8:01 is spot on! no one is allowed to correct her except for mommy and daddy. My dog is extremely tolerant of the kids and allows the small ones to walk around her without bothering them. It takes time, but its worth it to have a calm corso around small kids.
Here is a video where I discuss how much I fed him as a pup. I split his feeding into three times a day, based on the recommendations on the bag for his weight. What I Feed My 145 Pound Cane Corso ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OiS1b05Q5SA.html
Hello Trey Blessed New Year… I hope all is well with you and Duke. What and how much do you feed Duke? I have two 2 year old Cane Corso’s (Ziah my girl and Blu my boy) that I feed 5 to 6 cups of Open FarmWild Ocean RawMix (grain free) once a day. Duke looks great. What would be your expert recommendation? Thank you in advance, I appreciate your time and opinion.
Thanks man. Here is the video I made about what I feed Duke. If Ziah is eating all her food and her poops are solid and no other issue, I would stick with that. Maybe add salmon oil. That’s something I use for skin and coat health. I go over it in the video linked below. What I Feed My 145 Pound Cane Corso ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OiS1b05Q5SA.html
