Nepal is in Group B of the tournament. Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives are in Nepal's group. Similarly, five-time winners India, former winners Bangladesh and Pakistan are in Group A.
The SAFF Competition Committee meeting held on Monday approved Nepal as the host of the SAFF Women's Championship 2024. The tournament is scheduled to be held from October 17 to 30 at Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu.
The last edition in 2022 was also organized by Nepal itself. In that edition, Nepal lost against Bangladesh in the final. Bangladesh won the match 3-1.
