Safiye killed herself not because of pain. She committed suicide because she lost the last prince, who she could use in her fight for power with Kosem. If she has other sehzade she would continue the war. The most important thing for her was power.

None of these woman could or would ever be happy, power, greed drove them. Anyone and everyone was not to be trusted and dangerous, They never could rest peacefully, always watching their backs. Not even their own children were safe from the drive. These are not strong women, they are selfish and cruel and NONE of them were innocent. They all di the same thing whilst crying victim. They sacrificed their ow children for their personal gains. All of them ended the same way, always someone else just as devious, manipulative and driven for power is waiting around the corner.
