You are a true inspiration Sage! I remember coming across your videos whilst training for my first marathon in 2015 and I've been watching them ever since. Keep them coming!
I'm 20 years old and have been running for a bit more than one year now. I just want to say thank you for inspiring me and helping to put things in perspective. It's hard to even contemplate your level of dedication, keep going and I wish you the best!
Sage Canaday is an elite athlete. It is absolutely inspirational to see someone work so hard and dedicate so much effort into reaching their full potential. When you give it your all, as Sage has done, only then can you truly reach the pinnacle of excellence. Congratulations on such an established career and THANK YOU for inspiring so many.
Never knew you even ran for your country....this is not narcisstic in context. You have been my main source for very valuable information since I took up running, and many others would say the same. You get very little recognition for your achievements, given how great they are.
Pretty amazing resume. You've been my biggest marathon inspiration over the past year and a half. Won't stop until I reach Boston or NYC. Thank you Sage
Great video! I'm 59, and have been running off and on since HS. Mainly on, but life sometimes get in the way like having kids and running a business. What you've done is made it more than a sport but a science. After all these years, your videos, taught me many technical aspects I didn't even consider when I ran over 4 decades ago. I recommended you to several friends. Keep it up and never quit!
Dude if this doesn't boost your confidence for North Face plus the training you have been doing, I believe your going to smash it. You continue to inspire, keep up the great work..you got this!
Awesome Sage, you are an inspiration for all runners, I watched your video when I was a beginner in the sport, 3 years later I still look forward to the next vids!
Thanks for sharing Sage, your running stories, beautiful things will come, I hope our support is going to help you in your coming challenges, 🍺🍺 cheers
I'm signed up for my first marathon... Dang you Sage you get me pumped, I love your videos, thanks for the tips, great vibes and most of all making the sport fun for all your viewers.. keep up ur great work
Sage, My heart is in my throat to learn that your first ultra was the Chuckanut 50. By coincidence, I just registered for the 2017 running this morning. It will be my first ultra, too. The farthest I have ever run in a single session in my life is 40 km (and that was on the road with only about a 1,000 ft of vertical.) I am 42 years old and, to tell you the truth, I am more than a little terrified. I have been following you for about a year now. Thank you for the inspiration!
Hi Coach Sage, thank you for helping me get excited about running again after years and years of wanting to get back. It seemed to be a long shot but I have not been back for about 8 months now and hoping to start really competing again. For my age I'm not doing to bad already but with your guidance I have no doubt to be winning again. I am currently starting to train for a sprint triathlon. Wish me luck. Lol. One question. Do you know coach Jason Vig? Now coaching at Princeton. I thought I saw him in this video. Thank you again for all the help. Great work.
I always hear "long run at conversational pace" but I have never seen in in action. This is huge for runners I think. Could you guys go for a run and show what a conversational pace actually sounds like? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for a the great vids!
I prefer your own music. But kudo's on the accomplishments. You look like you're having fun. Makes me want to get out and run again. Even though I just did drills and 8x800m intervals on the track. :-)
I'm going to be returning to running after a few shoulder injuries and I'd like some advice on nutrition, training techniques, anything to be a better runner. In middle and high school I won 5 conference titles
well done.....keep up the good job.....try to run less miles as you get older so you can avoid injury and you can run for many years to come. wish you the best.
