It can be boring, which I what I think Shaz was referencing. I played against Grim back when he was a Diamond player and he went A like 6 rounds in a row to catch us offguard with a skywall, and my team never went A on attack because even though we won the pistol I went insane and won that round by myself with 5 onetaps. My team obviously didn’t know how to attack A so I told them to go mid and B for the rest of the rounds. Grims thinking was that we were only successful on A so we should be hitting A again in the future. So yea, it can be boring because most of his walls have to be prepped before the enemy executes. Also, its pretty easy to get in the mindset that Grim always is standing on every wall, in which case its not a very dynamic playstyle. Now if you actually watch grim you will notice that this isn’t necessarily true at least not anymore. Grim has a lot of interesting things he can do beyond just standing on the wall. Like in this video he showcased jumping over into ascent spawn, as well as jumping back onto his wall after being forced off on bind. Also its pretty understandable for someone like shazahm to be frustrated with grim walls because he is peeking from angles shaz had literally never been peeked from before. So in his mind he might rationalize it as Grim not being mechanically skilled because he abuses walls that make it easier to kill the enemy. In reality Grim has really good aim, and it really doesn’t surprise me that he has reached Radiant. Btw I think Shaz was referencing Grim as boring in a gameplay sense, basically calling Grim one dimensional aka always on his wall. I don’t think he was calling Grim boring from a content perspective.
