This has been my life. Thank God I am an independent person. Now, in my later years, I find I don't want to be alone. I never did, but I don't want to never again not have the love. I had. I have a slight medical problem that will gradually get worse but is fixable. I have always done everything on my own. I don't want to now. From what little I know it sounds like you’ve carried so much strength and independence throughout your life, and I can only imagine how difficult it must be to feel this weight now. I commend your independence!!!! It will serve you well for getting through tough times as it has done so many times for me in the past. Even after doing so much on your own and being an independent soul it is completely understandable to want love and companionship, especially as life changes and you face new challenges. Yes I want this. I still love him with all my heart. Been together two years. We were together then some Busybodies had to go and start rumors about us.
