Understanding the lyrics and identifying with them while dancing with the melody makes you burst into tears, but at the same time it pushes you to continue because, despite going through difficult times, we have been able to solve them... Or at least, in my case, how to forget them so as not to continue tormenting ourselves with those thoughs.

This song hits hard for me. I have only slept an hour an a half in the last 24 hours. I'm stuck on my bed, dizzy and unable to get up without falling down, while I just wait for it all to stop. 10/10 didn't expect one of your songs to hit me like this.

i'm a picky listener, i get maybe one or two songs from bands that i actually like, but Ivycomb has made me enjoy nearly all of their songs.

Ivy has a niche portion of their audience that immediately adopted this song as an instant favorite because it describes their situation uncomfortably well. I am firmly within this portion and i had to stop and rewind the first time i paid attention to the lyrics. Story for those who care: Moved to phoenix az to attend a tech school and basically everything is falling apart around me. Not only does this song apply to me in the metaphorical sense, it applies to me in the literal sense as well.

This is amazing! It can be difficult to make songs longer than 3-4 minutes so having one come out this long that you lose track of time listening too is so good! Can't wait to add this to my casual spotify playlist!

This has given me great inspiration to write a story about crossing an infinite desert. I'll be starting the writing process soon.

Can we talk about the message here? The way I’m seeing it, it’s about someone who prides themself on everything you’d think makes a ‘strong person.’ Letting go of their ego, having the will to keep going time and time again without support, taking challenges on like it’s nothing, actively learning how to survive and thrive and pushing themself to ascend personally and to get to where they want to go. But they’ve made one major issue. They’ve closed themself off. The narrator talks about nobody being able to abandon them if they have nobody to begin with and having an ‘untouchable’ heart due to them having ripped it out. They’ve closed themself off from having a connection with others. The narrator mentions not having a home or soul and building Nirvana from their trauma. They’re identifying with their trauma and loss and closing themself off from anything new. In the end, the narrator regardless of whatever they’ve found on their journey has grown to regret living like this. That disregard for their emotional well-being wound up being their downfall. Where willpower and pride once stood is now but an empty hole of regret. Without that will to carry on, they begin to slip. Nearing the end now beyond any chance to change the past, the narrator realises that surviving to see the next rise isn’t a worthy life if there’s nothing to live for. Then right before sinking in, they finally reach up and ask for help only because there’s nothing left to live. And the thing is, that’s it. By doing that one thing, the narrator has abandoned their pride. Now they have no one, nothing and they can’t even say they were stubborn enough to keep going. And now it’s over. The narrator presumably died with nothing to say about it and nobody to remember them. The end.

I love the music and the detail of the character changing with the song, as if they are falling apart, each color represents a different aspect of the personality and the first/last one is the full person.

It's really a talent to make a song almost 8 minutes in a way it stays interesting the whole way trough. Good job.

This is excellent. Its darker tone is somewhat similar to Antihuman and one part of World of Everything, and I personally like this style quite a lot.

Wow! and i mean wow. This song is incredible! The visual effects of VIVA swapping between the others and allowing each to shine, and the background slowly dissolving into glitches just as VIVA was at the end, was INSANE. Not even mentioning the incredible instrumental and lyrics! Massive applause to PC_Doodle, Ivy and Stephanafro for creating such a masterpiece!

Yet again, I'm baffled by the passion audibly present in this stunning song, let alone the glitchy art style here.

I have never really understood what or why have I felt so awful lately and I eventually found this video which sums up what I have been feeling and it's actually kinda scary- I have this obsession with finishing a promise I made three years ago with my old friends, they eventually left me behind and I still haven't made any progress and it makes me feel this empty feeling in my chest, after some eventful things between me and my old group I have been keeping a lot of my problems to myself. Thank you for making this masterpiece of a song I hope you grow bigger because you've motivated me to find help now that I have a better idea of what I am doing to myself and I should probably go find help before I sink deeper into whatever this obsession is. I think I’m spotting lore. Tell me if I’m wrong, but I think the characters we’ve been seeing in Ivy’s songs are the ghosts that possess this character, we can clearly see Moka and the one from the Luminescent(I’m sorry, I don’t know their name)appear in the video. I also suspect that the original consciousness of the body is represented by purple secondary coloring and rainbow ears. Honestly, I think this is so cool. I wanna see more of this lore!!!

Ok I am hooked on this music, it brings so much emotion I can FEEL the lyrics.

A powerful song, one that beats with the hollow void one of my OCs has. Rambling ensues below. Thrust into a violent world, he found it's impossible to stay dead in that new realm. Wringing mortality out of him and leaving him fighting with nothing unbroken else be rent further. He got *better* at it all eventually, but I still vibe with his darkest chapters. The need to push with such strain that everything shatters, just to drag myself together and keep up the battlefront.

I just woke up and listened to the whole song, and I got shocked that it’s a 7 minute long song. Loved the desperate feeling vocals on this one. What’s the best part is that when reaching the end of the song I still couldn’t understand the meaning of the song until the last part. When the last word was said, everything just *dawned* on me. Great song, pretty unique.

I don’t typically enjoy songs this long, but the story told through the lyrics more than makes up for it. Going through something thats breaking you apart inside, and pushing away everyone who’s trying to help is something I still struggle with. The verse from 4:13-4:55 almost perfectly reflects me

I like this song, but it is a hard song for me to listen to. It has nothing to do with the production or performance, none of it is bad, I actually think this is in my top 3 songs from all of you, but it is hard to listen to. The vocals are so raw and filled with pain and it just, hits, you know? I know Ivy posted on twitter that it was a song about murder, but when I hear and read the lyrics, I get a strong sense that is just a metaphor for body dysmorphia. That's what I got out of the song. I was on the verge of tears when I heard it the first time a couple days ago. No song has ever made me cry, and this one almost got me there. All this to say: I love your music, thank you.

This song reminds me of my life... it started out by being put down by everyone around me, but i stayed strong. over time i lost hope, then one person came to help, but it wasn't enough. now that person isn't here, and i am even more alone. everything leaves a gap and nothing helps... i am slowly losing the rest of my determination. i do realise i should've said all that stuff back then. the word. "help". There is no need for that anymore. i don't have the determination to face anyone with my real troubles as i don't want to trouble anyone with my own personal troubles. it is far too late, and i am far too gone. although not everything is all bad about my life, since i was able to hear these amazing songs by amazing people :D i have lost a lot, but i still have some people that care about me. that is probably the only thing holding me back from my true self that nobody ever wants to see. nobody knows about it, and nobody will ever realise it. i keep it to myself, as i do with my feelings. everything is just a facade. just to keep everyone around me happy. i hide behind myself, although what is there even to hide with? i may be succeeding every class, but at what cost. i have no friends, nobody to rely on, no living being that can help me... but even if there was someone, would they even help? i have tried getting to know a few people, then telling them after i think i can rely on them.... it just ended up leaving an even bigger gap. it grows and grows. the hatred that i suppress into nothing. i suppress my hatred, but at the cost of all other emotions. i dont feel sadness, i dont feel happiness. i just wish i could find someone to rely on, and open up to. someone to help me get out of this rabbit hole. i am stuck, and i keep falling deeper. nobody sees it, even if i give signs. signs aren't clear enough, and they don't realise what i'm hinting at. i can't trust them either way... the only reason i really go on is because if i died, they would feel remorse. i dont want them to be sad. even if they can't help me, they still give me food and shelter. this all just shows, if you show weakness in the start of your life, you will have a lot of troubles getting back out of that rabbit hole. i am struggling, and maybe succeeding, but for now it just isn't enough. i just want to find happiness and honesty, someone i can open up everything to. someone who won't pick on me for who i really am. if you read all of this then congrats, you just wasted your time. btw... thanks for making this high quality song :)
