It's so , so heartening to learn about the life's journey that the great lyrici ist & shayer Sri SAHIR LUDHIANVI JI Undertook & created immortal songs , both romantic as well as heartwrenching poetry ! I have been a great listener of Hindi Film songs for about 60 years & I had hardly shown any interest towards the lyrics or the importance of the song writers in the success of a Film ! After listening to SAHIR'S Shaery & poetry, I am greatly influenced & overwhelmed by the genious i.e. SAHIR & his feelings & love for his country & Nature ! He resented wars betweeen Nations which led to vast destruction & loss of innocent lives . These things had hurt him badlly . Today , after listening to SIA'S Program , wherein , singer Sri Hrishikesh Ranade & the female singer gave a fantastic performance of SAHIR'S lyrics , I have become a great fan of the great lyricist SAHIR ! Very nicely presented this program, excellent collection & selection of songs.....Great tribute to the poet.......on his birthday 8 th March.... incidentally it falls on the women's day . Perheps he the one who has written maximum number of poems....geets...nazams on women...... I personally miss him.....as a young boy I underestimated his presence in our family Circle. Hrishikesh sings very well. He was the Winner of World Series in the 90s in Dubai. Just as Lata Mangeshkar was advised to learn Urdu because her accents were Marathi, H Ranade should also be that. It’ll help him. e.g. In Subah he doesn’t have to pronounce every letter. वो सुबह कभी तो आएगी सु ब ह में सु ब: like swaha Hard to explain here. Hope you got it.

Sorry I don’t know the singer’s name. Her song by Lata in Mujhe Jeene do music by Jaidev was absolutely flawless. Then she sang Jagjit Kaur’s song from Shagoon. Excellent rendering.
