Sail Away - LILIAC Reaction with Mike & Ginger 

Ginger that is Melody's natural voice. She didn't put any strain on her vocals at all for this song. She did great. They released a new song just 3 days ago. Called The Last In Line cover in honor of Ronnie James Dio, Melodys inspiration. They did it for a cancer fundraiser for him. He died in 2010 and this song she did put force behind her voice. So beautifully rock.

The piano has been questioned several times. They floated it up to the beach at high tide, on a "barge" (a flat bottomed craft with a loading ramp), the night before the shoot. There was security present over the span of the setup and take down, so nothing got stolen. The tidal action over 24 hours erased any physical evidence of the activity. (Knowledge come from Navy time, 30+ years in security operations, and ,y general thoughts on how I would have done it... (Educated guess!)

Great reaction Sail away always gives me chills no matter how many times I listen to them they actually performed this live last night in Vineland New Jersey.Also they did a Dio cover the Last in Line for the Ronnie James Dio Cancer research benefit which was phenomenal.

I suggested Sail Away on your Mars video, but I'm sure others did as well. Either way, I'm glad you got to enjoy this power ballad from them. I have to mentally prepare myself, each time I watch it, as it gets me emotional. If your a Ronnie James Dio Fan from back in the day, they have a few great covers of him. For more originals (20), They have a range of hard rock, to heavy rock. May I suggest a short rocker called "Nothing" off their LP Queen of Hearts?

this is a masterpiece the band and crew carried that piano onto the beach and the members of that chorus are all fangs that volunteered to sing, papa said this video cost around 6000.00 and a lot of it were free.

They carried it by hands, with help of course. In some interview, Justin said that this was the most difficult part in making the video. Great reaction, you transmitted real emotion, thank you.

From what I know this song is actually Melody's song. I am not 100% sure about music, but lyrics are completely her.

In my experience (limited) you don't put a piano on sand so much as put sand on what the piano is sitting on. My guess is that metal plates were used to roll it out almost to position where a dug-out section of sand was. There would be a plate underneath with plywood on top. The piano would be rolled on that. Sand would be thoroughly distributed around somewhat deeper than needed. They'd play the piano so that the vibrations would level the sand and remove any extra. Time consuming, but relatively easy. Removing it would be easier. place the metal plates back out and roll it away. The BIGGER question is how did they get it down there? Helicopter? I've never moved that type of piano onto a beach. An upright, sure. Is it an actual baby grand or grand piano, or is it an electric one made to give good sound? Advise. Looks like a regular one, but I've seen some synth ones I was shocked to find weren't "real". Sand is just a mess anyway. This is a video, so while they appear to be playing the instruments, there's no real requirement for an actual piano here (at least not a heavy one). The song would have been mixed in the studio. The video would likely be shot by drone(s). Sometimes when a video is shot on location, the recorded song is done at double speed and then slowed down to match the video images. Skilled studio people.
