You should pull the tape, but it’s not so fun putting this tape on so I leave it until I finish priming or painting.

I use a small microfiber roller like 1/4” nap for ultra smooth surfaces. I get them at my local paint supply store.

The trick is to use enough thinner

I think it’s a Purdy brand Not 100% I will go by and see when I get the chance and let you know for sure.

Brian, I used 1 quart to painted 2 coats on the deck and 5 coats on the side and still have some of the quart left over.

@@finditfixitsailit9322 so glad to hear I dont need a gallon.

I think Alexseal paint would be easier than gel coat. You can use the regular Alexseal primer or the high build primer if you want to cover some low spots. The high build only come in gallons though and it’s much harder to sand. I recommend the regular primer.

@@finditfixitsailit9322 Thanks so much! DO you recommend using a different primer to save on cash or is it best to use both paint and primer by Alex seal?

I would use Alexseal primer with the Alexseal paint. Not sure how the paint would react with a different primer and if it didn’t adhere correctly it would cost you much more money and time.

Total fair is ok but it’s not a primer.
