[Sailing Airship - Caitlin Mulholland] The ship starts curving to make its way though the pass, angling the bow in the process. You tighten your calves and grab onto the nearest solid object in order to keep your footing on the temporary slope. Your heart sinks to the bottom of your gut when you see someone stumble closer to the railing. He’s nowhere close to the angle needed to fall off the ship, but you still lightly pat the parachute the captain requires the staff to wear just to remind yourself it’s there. When the ship evens out again you release your death grip and continue your way across the deck. A cord flaps in the wind, so you tighten it before it throws the sails off course. Your goggles fog up as the ship passes through a cloud and you fasten your jacket to protect you from the chill. You fumble your way forward until the vapor clears away from the lenses, trying to dodge other staff members, casual travelers, and adventurers milling about the deck. You carefully duck under a waiter’s outstretched arm, hoping the ship won’t hit a patch of turbulence and send all of the drinks on the tray onto your head. You shiver as you walk into the shade created by the large sails. At least the sunny patches by the railing gave you a little bit of relief from the constant breeze. It gets a bit worse the closer you get to the back of the ship, where the supplementary propellers blast pockets of cold air onto the ship with each rotation. You hear one of your coworkers call your name, so you hop onto the footholds on the mast, clip yourself into the safety harness, and swing your way up to get to work. 📌 Here's another ambience for your RPG sessions or for your projects, a Sailing Airship, with wind currents, people brooming the airship deck, a bell, birds, and many others. Nice one. Would be great to get a bigger palette of ambiences revolving around airship travel. For example with an engine, inside, in a storm, in battle or being damaged, perhaps no sails and more zeppelin like etc.

I run a steampunk rp server with nearly 60 people playing, set in a world composed of nearing 12 discord servers total. Travel time is calculated in weeks IRL, trade routes to plan, pirates to fend off, etc. The incredible lack of airship ambiance has made the sailing experience.... lacking. Thanks, this will be a staple audio file for the airship servers, while sailing the skies above osmond ward and noctis at large - until you release a steampunk airship sound file, that is.
