Sailing the Ocean of Trash Trailer 

In 1997, Captain Charles Moore and his crew discovered what is commonly referred to as the great pacific garbage patch or plastic soup in the north pacific ocean. In 1999 he began the first in a series of return expeditions to study the plastic pollution in the north pacific Gyre.
Sailing the Ocean of Trash with Captain Charles Moore gives a perspective on plastic pollution in the pacific from the perspective of marine biologist and first hand research.
