Good heavens you two are tough customers! If someone cooks for me, I’m ecstatic. Knowing what a pain in the neck it is to clean crabs (catching them is the fun part) and little meat they yield - I would have been praising Maria’s all week. Greetings from Wilmington, NC.

@jeffreyhughes7107 lol. She knows we appreciate her skills on the boat. Those crab cakes did taste like fish sticks though (which I enjoy) 😁

Yes, Oriental iiissssss a nice place that I wouldn't mind living at. I think you two fellas are lucky to have Maria around. She looks like she's a good cook. I do wonder if Maria's cooking gives Pawpaw gas after eating though. Looked like Pawpaw was a little under the weather while he was standing outside in the morning. Look like a gas problem. LOL 🤠

PawPaw is definitely full of hot air. Maria is irreplaceable in this vessel. She keeps us well fed. We are very lucky

So Pawpaw has a standing invite on our boat. But now Maria is invited with those crab cakes…….means you will be left with your hot dogs

Nice video. I discovered you recently and now subscibe. I might move to that area from the West Coast so I appreciate you showing off Oriental. I may be wrong but I think you missed the fancier part of town but you were right where all the charm was, so great. A year ago I tried downloading Navionics on a pretty strong laptop computer I had and it took forever to download and then partly crashed my computer, causing me to buy a new one. Any thoughts on that? I'm confused since I see everyone with Navionics on cell phones and tablets, etc. which are probably much less powerful than my old computer.

Awesome. Welcome aboard. Oriental is one of our favorite towns on the ICW. I've not heard of downloading Navionics on a laptop. I use the navionics website when on the laptop, but the download on my Samsung phone works nearly flawlessly.... we use it for 90% of our travels. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@SailingPauHana Wow, a response to my comment in less than an hour. Thanks! I respect the channels that answer all, or at least most, of ther comments and I see you try to do that. I'll try the Navionics website. I just want to practice using it. I currently sail rarely, out of a sailing club in SoCal.

@@richardwheeler103go on Navionics website and practice making routes on the chart viewer. It's free and you don't need to download maps or subscribe. Once you make a route, you can save it (if you create a free account), then when you open your app. the route you made on your laptop should be on your app (you might have to manually sync the app). We do try to respond to any comment. If people take the time to watch and comment, I can certainly find time to respond, although it may not always be within the hour 😊.
