Very enjoyable & informative. I only have Pilot music nibs (which I prefer as they are the softest among the Japanese nibs). I agree with size of standard, probably the right size in Japan. I also enjoy 1.1mm stub nibs. For me, most provide some line variations & many lay down a very nice line. I have an Indian titanium nib in transit. I enjoy Bock ones, will compare them.
Thanks for sharing! It you like the 1.1 then a great music nib is the one from Franklin-Christoph. that is a great music nib. Of the Japanese music nibs the Pilot is great and I am a Pilot fanboy, but I actually prefer the Platinum. I have looked into getting the Bock Music nib because I have heard so many good things about them. Love watching your videos!
I have a Sailor 1911S with a Zoom nib. The pen is definitely on the small side but the nib is something else! Thanks for the great video and Happy Holidays to you!
I find the size of the standard pretty comfortable but the large is the perfect size and the size that would suit most people. After Pilot, sailor is up there for me with great writing experience.
😅I would pull out the nib while cleaning it. Also I would pull out the converter flush it first and only later use the piston. Regular cc piston method leaves ink residue in the corners, also if you wanted to fill it with next ink, you could either wait like 20hours till it dries or you could use paper towel 🤣
yes it does, and for the writing samples on ink reviews, those pens get taken apart more then "the pen of the day" or than for a pen review. I generally don't have issues with getting a good proper cleaning without disassembly.
Great watch. Yes, Sailor nibs are very nice indeed. I guess it's about the same size as a Pro Gear Realo? Pen weight matters a lot to me as well. Thanks 🙂
