I would rather watch white girls playing as venus or moon for only aesthetic choice. I’m an asian and if they do justice for the characters, i don’t see problem with race. I love my characters being so exceptionally beautiful. I’m sick and tired of those modern movies or video games choosing minority races and medium ugly people all the time. I never thought of her as being Asian even though I’m Asian. Probably because of the art style. But I always thought of sailor mar as Asian though.

Fun fact: saban, the power rangers company (which also, is adaptation of a japanese series) tried making a live action sailor moon adaptation, which was basically an american version of sailor moon (not a very great one but adapted to its time standards though)

I have done a couple of 1950's trailers with a black actor and I got lots and lots of comments saying that my videos were terrible and bad because it would be totally impossible to have a colored actor back in the 1950s. I can therefore only assume that having an all Asian cast for a 1950s Hollywood movie would be also highly unlikely
