This scene and song hits way too close for me nowadays. When I was resitting my first year in university, which I still am. I lost hope in myself because I lost all of the friends I had made from my previous year, and the fact I struggled to do assignments. But after spending time with the people I have in my studies now made me want to never let go of them because I love them. I’m still struggling with keeping up with assignments and studies in general, so I’m getting all the help I can get to support me. Usagi’s struggles in the movie echoed a little bit of mine where she actively kept losing the people she loved from unknown forces. But despite the adversity and despair, she kept going and going. This song and scene that was playing made me tear up tremendously because I knew what she went through in a different context and situation. It reminded me that no matter how bleak or thorny my future seemed, hope is always alive and well. And it did help me, because I reached out for help that it’s helping me get to a better place.
Sailor moon Crystal and eternal have had a very beautiful symphony and soundtracks but this movie had to show off their strength and cosmos proved to be at the level for it, wow, I feel ecstatic
The section beginning at 2:20 struck me as insanely unique and different from what we're accustomed to in the SM universe - both nineties and Crystal. If they wanted to update the series and make it its own, they succeeded here. Though it's just music, this is what SM Crystal and everything thereafter should have been.
