It seems like that, but she wouldn't "push" the principal, I think it was planned by her parents and telling the school staff that their son will surprise his sister on graduation day
When we hear all of the bad news about today's youth, I listen to a story like this and see hope and greatness. I see wonderful family members and graduating seniors who are good people, who will become leaders. I see a school who has banded together for one student fighting an illness. I see a lovely young woman happy to be reunited with her brother. You are champions and make America great! God bless.
For those of you wondering, this is Greenwood High School in west Texas near Midland and Odessa. I know because Kaya is actually a friend of mine. This was my freshman year and Kaya was a big help to me in my first year of high school. We were in band together and she helped me a lot with my marching. It was amazing watching her run across that stage to her brother. We are such a blessed country to have such brave men and women fighting for our freedom.
It's pretty damned annoying when someone decides to cut onions next to you. How the heck can you watch the videos with tears running down your face?.. bastards!
next time you see a soldier weather it be a marine, navy, army or airman just walk up to them and give them a handshake or a high 5 or even a fist bump. they are putting thier lives on the line for us so please respect them.
