That is an exceptionally hard and technical song to play on guitar. Guitarist is legit!...very well done. Rest of band did awesome as well. Clause's voice is hard to replicate, especially when he was younger. Not that she was trying to replicate it, she has her own style obviously.
There can be no criticism whatsoever from anyone! The fact that they chose this song in such youth, and all of us that know this song and love ULI!! ... Its brilliant. funking Groovy. ULRICH ROTH rules. I saw him a few years ago after it being 30 years since I first saw him solo and there wasn't even 20 people there but I danced to all the old scorpions songs sang with him, hung out afterwards . Been a fan for 40 years. Right on to u guys! Speaks amazingly of the guitarist' old soul! Peace baby, far out! Drifting sun is my #1 of all time, ALL of Scorps with ULI is the Greatest. Groove on all the ULI fans!!!!!!
everything in life has become hip hop and my stomach and brain have nauseated repeatedly - now seeing this I smile and think that there are some youth that still appreciate great music
Amazing attempt! Of course, they don't sound like the Scorpions - but in fact I think that almost nobody can create a cover on their level. But, especially considering their age, this is just a really good afford! You guys rock!
Very impressive to you all, great song! Your lead guitarist is quite talented! Awesome bass riff in that song too. Everyone gets mad extra bonus for picking such an old classic that way too many people have never even heard. Just saw scorps 2nd row in Vegas in April 2022, that is where I got my google pic from. Wish they still played a few of their old ones.
Great job and this is such a great song. It's good to see it getting love. We just saw the Scorpions and though they are still perfect they didn't play this or anything else that's some of their older stuff which was sort of heart breaking if expected. Morticia
Kudos to this band! What a bright future - tackling (and winning!) a very tough song to sing and play, and pulling it off at a level way beyond their years.
I believe it was Uli that originated the playing the classical scales in a rock & roll metal format - the prelude that became the staple of what we now call Heavy Metal.
