In this episode, we learn about Saint Bartholomew's Day Massacre - an extremely sorrowful and the most gruesome event to occur in the 16th century. In 1572, the bells sounded at night, and the dreadful slaughter began in Paris. In the absence of mutual respect and freedom of religion, this massacre marked possibly the lowest point for the Protestants in France as they were brutally killed.

16th century Ireland Elizabeth Tudor & her henchman Cecil slayed & starved two fifths of the population of the province of munster. Cromwellian & williamite forces did the same in later centuries all in the name of the protestant religion.150 years of penal laws against catholicism .5% of the population ended up masters over 95% of the population with the help of their English masters. What happened in France, was on a larger scale in Ireland by the Tudors & their successors.

The Catholic church were experts at murder given incidents like this and the Spanish Inquisition. In later years they moved on to child abuse. Maybe they should have read about Jesus in the first place instead of making up their own religion.
