Thank you for this information about St Edward. Today-- October 13-- is also the Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, and the Feast of Our Loving Mother, Our Blessed Mother's title in Her apparitions in Conyers, Georgia in the 1990s, whose messages were akin to those of Fatima, but directed specifically to the United States of America. The book compiling Jesus' and Our Loving Mother's messages to us, given to the visionary Nancy Fowler, are compiled in the book "What Do You Ask of me? He was forced to marry the daughter of Earl Godwinson.Who was after the throne. He would not consumate the marrige so his child would not sit on the throne. Harold Godwinson ( king Harold Godwinson killed by William at Hastings) 1066 was his son. William flew the Papal banner at Hastings , At the beatification of Cardinal Newman I asked the Bishop of Bayeaux to apolagise ,the bishop of Bayeaux in 1066 was Williams brother. we saxons mournHastings to this day.
