I tried suggesting this last year and I was hopeless when it turned out unnoticed. So I'm super grateful with the one who compiled those videos of Big Mouth and other Filipino singers. He's got the recognition he deserves. *I'm sorry for the pronoun I used. I wish "HE'S" okay with it.
This song got a message actually.. according to the writer, the song is brilliantly written to attack religious hypocrites - hypocrites that are “masked” as a God-fearing person. Hypocrites that preach the Lord’s teachings, but neglect to follow the teachings for themselves.
Ovela, he is the one making the literal horse sounds. As in literally. This is her talent, please refer to her performance in Pilipinas Got Talent. Please
I was able to see her performance on TV, Ovela... Kris Aquino & FMG who were among the judges of the contest scared very much... only Ai-Ai de las Alas was very happy seeing her. Those were not pre-produced sounds but actually coming from her mouth. I amazed her upon producing those sounds but at the same time, I felt that she promote a SATANIC concept for the song.
Saw this on Live TV decade ago when I was just a kid and its not really that special to me that time, now, you made me realize how talented the guy is.
Read the English translation of the lyrics... Holy dog, saintly horse On a bus, in front of me was a lady Praying the rosary with her eyes closed She asked to be dropped off at the convent The driver replied "To the rightful unloading area lest I'll be caught." But the lady started cursing. Holy dog, saintly horse I am laughing, Hi hi hi hi Holy dog, saintly horse I am laughing, Hi hi hi hi At you. A man is preaching on the streets A beggar boy asked him for alms "I am sorry," he said, "This is for the temple." And the child begged, "Just for my food, please, Can you not give me anything?" But the preacher moved somewhere else. Holy dog, saintly horse I am laughing, Hi hi hi hi Holy dog, saintly horse I am laughing, Hi hi hi hi At you. Whatever you are doing to your brothers Is what you are also doing to me. Holy dog, saintly horse I am laughing, Hi hi hi hi Holy dog, saintly horse I am laughing, Hi hi hi hi At you.
It's sound effect. You're overrating Filipinos. Come on. Kris asked him several times to do that in the audition, and he could not reproduce it. The host had to cut the interview to avoid embarrassing him.
all sounds emitted are really from him, he actually joined Pilipinas Got talent and he made that horse and other animal sounds live and in acapella when one of the judges asked him to do so as they couldn't believe the sounds were really coming from him
Good morning Ovela from Philippines. Kabayo means Horse, that's why he sound like horse instead of hehehehe. Thank you for continuing supporting Philippine Talents. More power to your YT Channel. Keep it up. I always support and appreciate/like you and your channel. I felt so proud
*_kuya O, pls check NEIL's audition on asia's got talent. he performed human beat box using 5 different sounds simultanously! he is very talented filipino human beat boxer..._*
it is not scary. It actually scoffs at those who are hypocrites in the society. People who show themselves to be holy and seemingly living a life of a saint but are actually living a life of a dog. Dogs refer to a life of no morals and horses that are narrow minded and are judgmental to those who seem to them are living a life of sin. "Natatawa ako" he is actually scoffing at them because they live deceiving themselves thinking they are holy and righteous but in truth they are far from that.
actually that performance was done in a stand-up comedy bar "ZIRKOH" which is why he tried to make the song more fun and eventually turned into an artistic piece.
"Banal na aso Santong kabayo" a original song by Pinoy Band "Yano". Banal na aso santong kabayo is pinoy idiomatic expresion and it is a song for Hypocrite person. when you translate it in english word by word you will not get the meaning because its idiomatic expressions word.
I beg to disagree to those who said that is not his voice.. for the Fact THAT IS HIS REAL VOICE and he join the PILINAS GOT TALENT or X FACTOR PHILIPPINES sorry can't remember well..
It's not his horse sound. I've known him in our place he said he's just doing a lip sync. People here in the comment section thought it's his natural horse voice hahaha bugok
