After owning the Saint Laurent Lou Camera bag in another color but rarely using it due to fear of color transfer, I decided to part ways with it. However, my love for the design insisted I get it in a darker color.
I’m so so happy to have it back in my collection, but I’m not sure how I feel about Saint Laurent removing the iconic tassel from the bag.

I recently purchased the same bag but the tassel is missing just like you said they no longer provide it with the bag! I called YSL today to see if I can get a tassel they said they can’t help since it no longer comes with it. Do you have any advice on how I can get a tassel?

The cinnamon colored one I had before this had both a back pocket and a tassel. I believe both features should have been kept on the bag.

I have it in burgundy. The first thing I did was take off the tassel😅. It made it too casual for me. But it sucks that she promised you the tassel and didn't deliver on it. The cinnamon color is gorgeous too!

Selfishly, I’m so glad you got this 🤭 I’m not happy that you’re not completely happy with it though. FWRD still has the ones with the tassel and they have the back pocket too. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with FWRD and there’s usually a promo code for first timers. I think they should’ve left the tassel and let us decide what to do with it if they’re not decreasing the price. I have 2 Lou camera bags with the back pocket & the tassel, so it’s not like they kept the price the same bc of adding the pocket. I hope you end up completely happy with it however you decide to proceed 👛❤️

Looking back, I probably shouldn't have gone for it without the tassel from the get-go. Now I'm in a bit of a scramble trying to track one down. It would've been nice if they left the tassel for us to decide, considering how many of us still love it. I tried to sort it out with the SA, but it seems like a dead end, so I've placed an order with another department store. If that doesn't pan out, FWRD might be my next stop!

Thanks for this video. I just got one in the mail from Neiman Marcus and thought the same about the tassel. For a minute I thought they sent with a missing tassel. The pictures do show the tassel so it completely confused me when I didn’t see the tassel. I can live without the tassel but to your point if I paid this much money and was supposed to include a tassel then they better include it, lol…

I think the tassel on this particular bag wasn't stationery And would just be annoying at times So i would say on this bag without the tassel looks nice❤ I have the gucci soho disco bag and that tassel doesn't move around on the strap

I tried working with the SA, but unfortunately she was no help. I ordered another one from a department store, so hopefully it’ll come with the tassel! 🤞🏽
