6:51 I remember playing this part when I played horn, I was like 10 years old, and I worked so hard to finally play it correctly, I had to blow with all my strenghts. I think that it is one of my favorite music memories

This one of the works that at a very young age, introduced me to a lifetime of exploring and appreciating the World’s greatest music. It’s rhythm and melody are ideal for a beginner and it fascinated me. I remember playing the recording over and over. Can’t remember the artists.

Despite the dizzying tempo, Macelaru evokes such amazing detail. His may be the most exciting and colorful rendering of this showpiece that I have ever heard.

Saint-Saëns aura définitivement été un génie de son temps - Je ne peux m'empêcher en écoutant du Saint-Saëns d'arrêter tout ce je fait pour l'écouter. Quelle joie !

Je remarque que les musiciens jouant d'un instrument à vent semblent dispensés de porter un masque. Est-ce bien raisonnable ?

I am sure that Maurice Jarre was inspired by this classical composition when he wrote the score for the movie Lawrence of Arabia.
