Here's a transcription for solo piano you might like to play. It was originally written for two pianos and the cello, the cello being the swan gliding across water.
A. Siloti’s made a transcription for solo piano which you can hear beautifully recorded by Rachmaninoff in 1924 (available on YT at the time of making this video) • Rachmaninoff plays "Th...
To help piano students see clearly the “Swan melody-notes” to be voiced, I’ve highlighted them on the score. You can download the PDF sheet music (free for educational purposes) from this Google Drive link: drive.google.c...

Oi, Paul!!

I like both versions. Siloti has the rare gift of not "over blowing" his transcriptions while still making them worthwhile pieces for a concert hall. The two Bach in D Major (Andante from the Violin Sonata and Cantata 29) are two good examples of his style

The piano is a FEURICH 218 and it appears in all my video after a small upright at the very beginning of uploads to this channel. My grand piano in this video was filmed from above and the additional still of the score was added as a graphic layer over the video in Final Cut Pro X. The same overhead keyboard view is often seen in other videos on this channel and instead of the score that section of the video frame shows part of the iron frame, which is not the traditional gold but a bronze/red colour. In other videos the same FEURICH 218 piano is seen in full from the side.
