I'll be honest, first time I listened to it I was like "what is this modern anime bullshit", then the guitar kicked in and I went "YEAH THAT'S MORE LIKE IT"
Dakishimeta kokoro no KOSUMO Atsuku moyase kiseki wo okose Kizutsuita mama ja inai to Chikaiatta haruka na ginga PEGASASU FANTAJII sou sa yume dake wa Dare mo ubaenai kokoro no tsubasa dakara Saint Seiya shounen wa minna Saint Seiya ashita no yuusha Saint Seiya PEGASASU no you ni Saint Seiya imakoso habatake
You're right. The Netflix adaptation was hot garbage compared to any other Saint Seiya product that came before, ever. Even that crappy movie where they fight Satan. I seriously think that it was intentional, there is no way they could screw that up so bad.
TOME SU LIKE BUEN SEÑOR 👍
Well, i mean... it's not even close to the original when it comes to general quality(and it can't even be compared to The Lost Canvas), but i would say that the real problem is the fact that it wastes a lot of opportunities and doesn't respect the original material.
Nah it got bad as soon as the elements kicked in I did not like that at all in lost canvas or Original was not like that and too me by far lost canvas was better than original
_rewatching the 1986 anime_ "Ah yes, thank you for showing me the same flashback for the 9th time in two episodes, I had really forgotten that Ikki stole the gold cloth/pope mindbroke the crystal saint/esmeralda died/they're all orphans". I love the original series, but let's not pretend Saint Seiya in general doesn't find some budgeting for its animation when it could. Also, a lot of the fights from season 1 Omega are extremely well animated.
I kinda felt like that was the original Pegasus saint. I’m not a big SS Fan, I just started to watch it. Like I’m literally on episode two but is the one in the gold armor the same one from the very beginning. Seiya was his name right? Cuz the lil guy in the peg armor now looks similar to seiya but something is telling me that’s not him
Saint Seiya is considered one of the biggest anime phenomenons of the 1980s. It would become the inspiration for future series and movies, including several Gundam series such as Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Bleach, Legend of Heavenly Sphere Shurato, Ronin Warriors, Wild Knights Gulkeeva and Clash of the Titans. Dragon Ball's author Akira Toriyama is also fan of Saint Seiya's author There are many series, movies and manga in Saint Seiya Multiverse I. Saint Seiya classic (Episodes : 114) II. ❤️
Allen Searcy non-canon continuation. Its like dragon ball GT. Its takes stuff from the original however. If you want an order on how to watch it, go saint seiya lost canvas, saint seiya knights of the zodiac, saint seiya omega, saint seiya soul of gold. Read saint seiya next dimension after finishing knights of the zodiac. There's other manga, like episode G and such, but I hear they aren't worth the time.
It's funny how many people hate Omega just because it's different from the original series. The same people are also bitching about the Legend of Sanctuary movie for the same reason. Seriously? Just because something is different doesn't make it bad. I love Omega, and I love the fact it didn't rehash the same shit from the original series. Apparently most of the fandom prefers completely unoriginal nostalgia plots.
I think a lot of the hate comes from the fact that in its first few episodes, Omega throws up loads of what seem to be baffling plot holes, and honestly the first 7 or so episodes are pretty bad. But it starts to pick up as it goes along, and does eventually offer explanations for the things that seemed to just be plot holes. I think some people just didn't watch the whole thing because of that rough start.
Saint Seiya Omega was my first anime ever. This anime was what got me into anime. When I was 7 I saw this episode where this purple hair girl gets killed and little me was like "cool" but now I look back at it and it is sad.
Very simple dude lost canvas wasn't as popular as Omega. In japan the series wasn't as close as successful as Omega was, if you go lost canvas page it indicates there won't be any Season 3 planned anytime soon
Luis Galvan Yes I understand but those types of Anime with Fanservice sell really good and even if Lost Canvas was a masterpiece not many people in Japan liked it and we are aware if something is popular in Japan it will keep being produce
(Saint Seiya!) Dakishimeta kokoro no kosumo Atsuku moyase kiseki wo okose Kizutsuita mama ja inai to Chikaiatta haruka na ginga Pegasasu Fantasy! Sousa yume dake wa Dare mo ubaenai kokoro no tsubasa da kara Saint Seiya! Shounen wa minna Saint Seiya! Ashita no yuusha (oh yeah!) Saint Seiya! Pegasasu no you ni Saint Seiya! Ima koso habatake!
Holy shit. You would never imagine how long I searched for this series. My dad showed to me when I was 8 years old but I forgot the name. So now 15 I saw the Netflix serie and realized that it was the same but different. With the crap wiki I finally found this ;)
I like it it seems generally by the public to be hated but there are people who hate orig and LC so don't feel too bad it is what is you like something others dont like that is something new there
I like it too this was my childhood show, since i wasn't even born when the OG series starts (after watching Omega i watch the OG one too and i love both of them)
+CrimsonAnihilator I'm up to ep 17 and so far I like it. Don't spoil it for me, but if it's possible to say so without spoiling, why do people think it's bad?
Jo-Smooth You know those guys in pokemon and in yugioh who are nostalgia critics and always say "Gen one was best" or "Everything after Gen one was shit" well it's the same concept. They don't like it for that simple reason, and because the whole entire series is noncanon. It might not be Canon, but it's still a really fun watch.
JmanTheOmega I don't like the elemental cosmos thing, I hate the new characters, I wouldn't mind if they were entirely new but instead they're copypasted versions of the older characters. The art style isn't necessarily bad but I don't like how magical-girlish it seems. The opening is the only good thing about the anime in my opinion.
I definitely won`t deny that Saint Seiya Omega isn`t the best anime ever. But many animes out there also are bad. Omega and classic SS were two different animes. If you hate Omega just because it doesn`t live up 100% to the original, then you don`t know how to watch an anime properly. Omega isn`t a copy of the original, it`s its whole new thing, with new saints, a new generation. I would love if there wasn`t so much hate salt in the comments but maybe that is asking for too much.
