I'm so late to this, but I really loved the way the defense played when Drew was out, they did very well stepping up. The front seven was just sacking the qb more, and getting more pressure, and secondary improved heavily shutting off everything of an opposing offense. Holding the Cowboys and Jaguars to 10 and 6 points was amazing. I hope they keep this up, Dennis Allen is a great DC.
29:05 that play had me so hyped in the moment. I loved when Teddy started running on the field when the play wasn’t even over 😂😂. Even Sean Payton was running down the sidelines with his hands up 😂😂
Savage Noah bro I was at that game and I can’t put into words how happy I was before I saw the replay and his knee was down. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing I was in shock and I was jumping up and down like a fucking 5 year old and seeing Teddy run on the field to was awesome. Tbh I know his knee was down but imo the refs should’ve just let us keep the td they owe us one after the 2018 nfc championship lol
WyattBDV I was watching Fisk Vegas live and he reacted to it by saying “Fuck that the refs owe the Saints” like how when we played the Cowboys and Zeke’s elbow was clearly on the ground on that fumble but they still gave it to us. Even though that Dalvin Cook play was called back it was still one of the most excited plays of season and that was a special moment for me bc I’m a big defensive guy and thought that the defense actual saved our season with that play
18:53 is my favorite play of the year. Who knew that Shy Tuttle was such a beast running with the ball? He stiff armed Matt Ryan into the next zip code. Another thought, I really hope we didn't screw up letting Von Bell go.
Just wait until Jenkins is controlling the back field. Saints will be hard to be. All 3 phases of defense will have a proven leader. Jordan, Davis, M. Jenkins
I love my team and all but damn we made 3 STRAIGHT GREAT PLAYS, the defense is ready for the playoffs... hopefully with these recent signings that’ll put us over the hump cause bruh we’re so close!
Should have beating the 49ers and Rams had kittle not gotten free and DREW not gotten his thumb broken and tooked away the cam Jordan touchdown (clearly a fumble and continuation) plus the vikes playoff game (pj just intercept the pass instead of letting Rudolph box you out)
