Only 16 minutes in and No mention of Philly running 6-1 all game to counter our scheme. Fortunately not every Team has the Personnel to run 6-1 but whoever does now has the Blueprint to stop us. Klint has to get in the Lab and figure that out.
Yea, we didn’t get into much about the line scheme. Haven’t gotten a chance to look at the all-22 yet to get a good idea of what they were doing inside (I watched from the field so at this point you’ll have a better idea than I do). Definitely something I’ll take a look at tho, interesting strategy that the Saints didn’t handle well.
Hopefully, they’re practicing the shotgun snaps with the replacement center, because without McCoy, it looked like the snaps were dying before Carr got it & he was having to lean, step or reach forward on every snap and save it, which looked like it was throwing off the timing and footwork of the play. Also, both guards pulling and running into each other, looked really bad.
Part of the reason the D was on the field so much was that they couldn’t get themselves off of it. It wasn’t like it was a bunch of quick 3 & outs back and forth. The D allowed drives of 10, 15, & 10 plays on 3 straight drives. The offense only had 8 possessions to work with and the opening possession was 15 plays and took 8 minutes. Luckily Siriani made some questionable decisions and didn’t take the points and the D forced 2 timely turnovers. The eagles averaged 7 ypc and gave hurts all day in the pocket. The game was lost in the trenches. Swap the eagles and saints o-lines and that games totally different. I also thought Kubiac was way too stubborn trying to run the ball. The 1st 2 drives of the 2nd half ended with 7 straight run. They ran on 1st, 2nd, & 3rd down on the 1st drive and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th following the blocked punt and got stuffed. I think they went conservative thinking the o-line couldn’t hold up in pass pro and that the saints D could hold the lead but it obviously didn’t work out
Yes, it was an extremely weird game. If you were an Eagles fan you had to be thinking “I can’t believe we’re going to lose this game” once Carr hit Olave for the go ahead TD. I still think the Saints team has what it takes to be relevant all season and make a potential run in the postseason. Losing McCoy was massive as was not having Taysum. Im honestly more concerned about the defenses ability to stop the run and rush the passer than I am the offenses ability to move the ball. Now if the injury bug hits then all bets are off but when healthy I have faith in what I saw the offense do the 1st 2 weeks
my Duds are Klint for calling terrible game, DA for that idiot play call that sprung Godoert for basically game over, our D for letting the gash us to 8 yards per pop per rushing play. I thought it was going to be a close game but I feel like they beat us 30 to 12 cuz with competent coaching they would have. I don't blame the ol injuries cuz Eagles had ol injuries as well. Think about it...they only had Goedert to cover with Smith, and AJ on the sidelines on that last chunk play
Shouldn't blame Klint. The all 22 film showed that he had the right plays called. The Oine didn't hold up well at all once McCoy went down. Hopefully, they shuffle and figure it out.
lmao that Packers game last year. DC did not move the ball down the field that well. He had ONE TD drive. Shaheed had a punt return TD.. Winston did move the ball and Groupe missed a chip shot.. everyone forgets that. Carr did not out play winston he just played longer. Geeezz I admit Carr played ok for a couple of games but can he keep it going? I say when we win it's in spite of him.. You should realize that guys he's not a top tier QB.. He's adequete and the bast on this team but He's' mid tier at best

Who else is tired of DA punting the ball from the opppnents 40 yardline. Either go for it or try for 55+ FG. I rather attempt points then only swap field 25 yards
I really hate when they interview DC. Even when he wins. He just irritates me to hell, for some reeason. I'm not say he's the worsst QB in the league but he's no where as good as he thinks he is,, I swear lol
Jeff, i'm not putting the blame on Carr for the loss or that int. But then again I'm not giving him flowers either. He had an awful game up until this and no Steve, I'm not screaming for Rattler either...but lol he was in street clothets before the game so there's that he didn't even dress out..maybe that''s why he''s third string so people can't yammer for him? lmao
