My only concern is whether Derek Carr can read the field consistently. Sometimes I literally have no idea wtf he’s looking at. He cannot read a defense to save his life.
Yeah that’s why he’s been a 10 year starter in the NFL, because he can’t read a defense. You obviously just don’t like him, he finished with the 9th best QB rating in the NFL last year.
@@stevekline2401you clearly don’t watch film , he stares downs read and has no pockect awareness. he is mid at best. i don’t understand why saints don’t rebuild
@tahjsfanboy, typically when a quarterback stares down receivers, they throw a higher percentage of interceptions. Carr is 8th all-time in pass to interception ratio. As far as pocket presence, despite being under constant pressure last year, he was #1 in the league in lowest negative play rate. He was obviously doing something to avoid sacks, interceptions, fumbles, and bad plays. Having a bottom 10 offensive line, terrible playcalling, and no run game made for a rough year. Despite that, they were still 9th in scoring. 🤷🏿♂️
Clint Kubiak never lasts more than one season with the team and his offenses are always middle of the pack. He's no more a "savior" than Derek Carr Why did the Saints tease bringing Gruden in? I thought that made the most sense because Gruden would be HC after next season
You're talking out your ass 😂 So this 49ers offense is middle-of-the-pack, is it?? He wouldn't be Kyle Shanahan's coordinator if he wasn't good. Yeah, his Vikings offense did rank middle-of-the-pack, but he got a lot of good out of Jefferson and Cousins. And he never lasts anywhere more than one season? When you look at his moves, they've basically either been promotions and/or they've been tied to his father being at those teams. How is that a bad thing?
Shows what you know. Gruden is in the middle of a lawsuit with the NFL. Until that is done, he won't be coaching anywhere. What ever made you assume Gruden was next? Nobody told you that. You saw him in a Saints shirt and assumed.
Ok are we talking about the same Saints? The ones I know couldn’t win a playoff game to save their soul. Hell they’d be lucky just to get to the playoffs.
What are you talking about? He was in Minnesota for 3 seasons, took a job in Denver to work with Hackett and Russel Wilson which was clearly a Hackett debacle that any intelligent coach would have walked away from, he took a job in SF and literally helped lead them to a Super Bowl with a second year QB who only played 6 games last season, and has an opportunity to fix a franchise that clearly needs it. He spent one season with a dog shit franchise and then one season taking a team to the superbowl showing he clearly wasn’t the problem in Denver. Why would you complain about him taking a promotion to come to a franchise that is bubbling with talent and simply lacking a quality OC?
No offense has ever been "UNSTOPPABLE " with Derek Carr as it's QB. So STOP with the brainwashing hype. The man's been in the league long enough, 10 years, and he's never been elite. His old employer can vouch for that. That's a trait his family has shown itself not to have. Derek nor David Carr has ever been elite or at best good. They're average maybe. But until we FIRE Dennis "The LOSER" Allen and LoopyLoomis, then sit or ship their Lemon out of town then or offense will take off with a young Top QB that we can draft this year. I promise if we get rid of this Lemon he's fine starting in the NFL. He'll probably be a backup for a couple of years then it's off to the broadcast booth for him. Dennis Allen won't ever be a HC again because nobodies that dumb to make him a HC in this league in the first place other than LoopyLoomis. #FireSlickTongueMick
i 100% agree. I don’t understand why saints don’t rebuild. didn’t understand why they didn’t when they knew brees was retiring. they are trying to “win now” and is stuck paying carr $150million (100 guaranteed) for mid talent. more than +300 million in negative cap space. either they gut the roster or sell the team. ☕️
@@tahjsfanboy, $150 million is mid money for a quarterback who finished top 10 in nearly every important statistical category for quarterbacks. That's a bargain. Brees won exactly 1 championship in 20 years. He was on much better teams and had much better coaching. His only championship was 9 years in. 🤷🏿♂️ Brees is a better quarterback but it takes a solid team to win consistently in the NFL.
Stafford was in the league 12 years before he won a championship. Brees won his in year 9. Teams win championships. Mahomes is phenomenal. He also has a future Hall of Fame coach, top 10 defenses for 4 of his 6 years starting, and mid to very good offensive lines. Brady had top 10 defenses for 19 of his 23 years, a future Hall of Fame coach, and solid offensive lines nearly every year. Carr has never been on teams like that, yet you expect him to perform miracles?🤷🏿♂️
And your and idiot have you seem how good carr was the last half of the season he actually ended up with better stats then mahomes clown u act like he didnt improve my guy
