Saints Row Features WE ALL MISS!! 

The respect system in SR2 never bothered me for two reasons. First, because I really enjoyed a lot of the activities anyway, so it was no big deal. Second, the awards from some of the activities made me want to play them in the beginning to gain an advantage in the rest of the game, which also pretty much topped out the respect I needed for playing any mission I wanted to afterward. One of the Fuzz activities gave you unlimited pistol ammo after reaching level three, then gave you the Kobra full auto pistol when you completed the activity (lvl 6). The airport Trafficking gave you unlimited shotgun ammo and a fullauto shotgun, one of the Escort activities gave you vehicle delivery (which I used to get a Bear dropped off for the Airport Trafficking activity). Really, if you thought about it, there were enough activities that gave you things that would make the game easier that there was no reason to not do at least a few of them before playing the main story anyway.

Indepth character customisations without a list of presets to choose from. Better hairstyles that aren't all short and helmet like. More stylish clothes that actually look good. Mixing and matching upper and lower clothes. Layered clothing on all clothes. Walk styles Combat styles Taunts & compliments that aren't that of pubescent teenager. Idle animations. Gritty story with madness on the side (ie activities) Three gangs with their own stories and story arcs. Cutscene replay Mission replay. A city bigger and better than Stilwater from SR2. Not a vast empty space like a desert. Different districts and civilisations More explorable interiors, clubs, museums, general random cool places. Every store having different interiors like in SR2 CRIBS!! With each one with different interior and options to style them. To name a few...I never understood why the developers never built off of SR2 and instead continued to strip it from what made Saints Row Saints Row...

That was the best part about the saints row games 🎮 is that you can go into the buildings and buy stuff from the stores

The feature to break into the safe in SR1 was awesome. Edit another feature I miss from SR2 is the finishing moves that corelate wit the combat style you get to punch and kick back hand and even BREAK THEIR BACK THAT'S SICK

One feature I really liked only appeared in saints row 4 and never again. Was that whenever you aim your reticle at any npc you don't even have to shoot the gun. And any near by saints will attack them it makes for some really funny moments.

Idle animations was one of my favorites. It showed just how much variation and distinction each district had. On the Prison Island you could lift weights in the prison yard, in the University you could be a cheerleader, in On Track you could dance the night away... Good times. Emotes in the Reboot kinda brought that aspect back a little, but it just wasn't the same.

The taunts were funny in saints row 2😂

I share the same opinions as you tbf i wish the soundtracks were as good as saint row 2 though, the tunes in that live rent free in my head lol

1 & 2 respect has never been an issue for me because every time i start playing i do all the activities because i love them. Most of them, anyway

I hate also hate the respect system in the first 2 games, it always so tedious getting enough to play the next missions.

I really miss the crib customization and picking your tags like in Sr 2nd we used to do we had 4 s r tags choose to pick ans tag them on walls around the town etc

2 features I wish they put in Audio Logs: This was introduced in SRIV and I believe it's even in GOOH this would have helped with the lore in the game. Homie conversations: I haven't played the reboot in awhile but I believe instead of homies it's contacts the game is about friendship but we don't hear the banter between Neenah, Kevin and Eli when we get to call them which is the same case for homies in SR1 and SR2 but the feature is great since they can reveal info and you can see how they interact which is why it was great to have in SRTT and SRIV and even AOM had conversations.

Missed the hidden rewards from SR2. Like where you did funny sex mini game behind gas station, then unlocked pimp coat

I kind of liked the clothing textures from 1 more than 2. Idk if I'm in the unpopular opinion of this but yeah. Also on the respect system, didn't a certain activity eventually max it out to unlimited? I need to play them again.

Im a disagree on the activities definetly prefer the respect meter over playing stupid activities for missions the reboot was the worst offender because in order 2 complete the main story you have to finish 2 side activites completely to access the awful ending and they dont tell you until that mission. Which i why I think people never finisged the game
