tbh if u take away the fact that’s it’s supposed to be “gangsta” then it’s ight it’s cool just to break shit with powers but besides that game is pretty bad😭
We gonna level here, comparing 4 to the reboot, the reboot is 10x better, 4 was supwr stale and really repatative after the first few mission which besides the last one were some of the best in the entire game. The reboot has more Sr3 charm to it than 4 did
Hell yeah, saints row 2 was so amazing bro😢😢❤ they couldve just remastered all saints row games instead of releasing the gen z inspired worst game ever
i like the game but it’s disappointing that we cant fight cops and gangs at high notoriety and the aliens seem to bleed like we do and i was asking where is alien blood is it not just they have our blood?
@@eastwolf77 I disagree with this. The online was pretty good for a 2006 and 2008 game. If they bring back what made them great with todays graphics, follow up with the plot they had in sr 1 and 2 it can pretty much be great again but as long as it has the OG group of developers without the alien/president/hell/heaven bs
@@ufcpubg1964i agree with you. First 2 games were gangster with a hint of goofy. Next 2 were goofy with a hint of gangster. They should ignore everything since and give the originals a proper trilogy.
Although i did enjoy 4 somewhat, i really hated the glitch effect on buildings (hurts my eyes), the game felt like a recycled SR3 but focused on superpowers. Also i wish we could have gone back to Washington and the White House be a crib, but they just decided to destroy earth.
Yes, Love the game and its humour! The reboot was and is still a HUGE L, i hope they change the team that forced the crappy woke narrative b.s when they make a new game and kill the reboot continuity.
It wasn't even gangster, it was 'Random dude shot on the side walk' to President fighting aliens then wondered why the series became a commercial failure.
Went from gang war simulator to stop a nuke and be president and murder aliens simulator. Did we forget to mention that quarter of our budget went into sex jokes?!
I actually just did a replay of all of them now besides GOH and of course the "reboot", and I gotta give SR4 credit, it was a FUN ass game! I personally wouldn't really call it saints row anymore though, of course. But man, they really did a good job with all the powers and stuff you have in that game!
I may not be a faithful fan cuz I came into the saints row pretty late but I actually enjoyed what I've played of 4 do far. yea pretty goofy af but not the worst thing I've played, love the wrestling moves you can do on random people in the streets lol
After purchasing the ‘newest’ game, I beat it then played the 1st, 2nd, now replaying the 3rd then will do the 4th game, do so with the ‘same’ boss. Always a good time 😊
@@wikkiddeathlord7372I enjoyed it more than 3. And I played 3 when it released then replayed it remastered In 2021 . But played sr4 once and was kinda addicted to it for a couple of weeks ngl lol
Saints Row 4, Dragon Age 2, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance and Batman Arkham Knight. The Four Horsemen of underrated games that were unfairly hated by their fanbases.
Love Arkham Knight what would have made it great for me if scarecrow had planned Bruce to fight off the fear toxic and when he make scarecrow injected himself it's the new fear toxic mixed in with the last traces of Titan because if you bear the first game on ease I think you will see scarecrow hand pop up and grab a box a Titan so imagine fighting a titan mixed in with fear toxic scarecrow that would be insane and have Bruce and Jason fight him together and let us play as Jason to give us a taste on how he plays to want the red hood dlc
I understand why many fans aren't fond of SR3 and SR4, but those games truly hold a special place in my heart and I still play them, I've never laughed so hard at a video game in a very long time.
I loved Saints Row 4, but my only complaint was the fact cars were pointless with superpowers 😔😔 Customizing your vehicle in the previous games was fun because you’d be driving around quite often. And co-op made it even more fun to see what others worked on.
For The one i played i’d say 1:Sr3-Just one of the best time i had 2:Sr2-The Story Was So good and it showed how Dangerous the boss was Sr4-The best gameplay i have ever played I Really just enjoyed them all
That's the problem. It wasn't the same game they established with every previously release Every game they released was really good, but the audience they tried to sell it too was wrong.
You know what made Saints Row 2 so good the fact it improved every problem with Saints Row one was solved in sr2 you know game is good when it improves on everything but you know a game is bad when we're moves its identity and have some of the worst rioting in years I'm looking at you reboot what's your character Depp as deep as the puddle I stepped in last night
The whole problem was... Every game they released was really good, but the audience they tried to sell it too was wrong. It wasn't the same game they established with every next release, they seemed suck a core aspect that people loved and changed it, just enough to sour a lot of the audience from one game to the next.
I actually enjoyed Saints Row 3 alot up until Stag got involved and honestly really don't like how early they killed off Loren he was the best Saints Row 3 antagonist out of the rest in it and the only reason i liked Killbane is cause he predicted the future of the franchise.
@@thisrandomguy5900This isn't about the story but number 1 reason i hate stag is because how they cause so many glitches when playing their missions coop😭it happened to me two times that i played the stag missions koop and when i got back to my save game, skipped the coop done missions and they keep appearing and attacking me even tho i finished the game 100% But this is not about the storyline with stag
@@Peelz0but they're secret HellCarrier missions after shaundi hypothetical death was fun . Just hated how we couldn't kill Julius and save shaundi. The karma system killed the game if the next game completely disregarded it and it never returned except for the end .
Tbh i don’t understand why people are shitting on Saints Row 2022 so much. I gave it a go because it was free this month and its actually really good, maybe not up to the standards of SR3 but still good, the map isn’t rediculously big and empty like some parts of GTA V and is overall a fun experience, i would recommend you try it for yourself instead of just listening to critics online.
Honestly, I agree. It's a good game to just dick around in lol, story is pretty average and all that, but the customization is really good, and it's really faithful to the rest of the main series in that sense
"I don't understand why ppl are shitting on SR 2022" Let me tell you why: Because ppls don't want to play a game called "Saints Row" when there is literally NOTHING like Saints Row, ppls never asked for a reboot with poorly written characters and with child humor, and a complete non sense of a story, and yeah SR4 story was non sense but it was actually fun, in SR 2022 it's non sense + the game is not fun AT ALL. The map is garbage and poorly designed, to 2022 standard the game was miles away in the past, from gameplay, to agressive UI healths bars everywhere, bullets proof enemies, weapons felt like s***. I mean... I could go on with this list for a while, this game could have been a bit (just a bit) more enjoyable if it was not called "Saints Row" at first. Because apart from the title, nothing in the game makes me thinking it's actually Saints Row ! Maybe the insurance fraud activity ? The character customisation ? and that's it. By calling this game "Saints Row" they simply ruined the hope of this license to return one day.
The Reboot It Was ALRIGHT to me Because I did like some of things they had like I'm glad we can finally customize helicopters and boats Because in. saints row 2 and 3 and 4 you can't do that unless you do a glitch or mods im glad that they put customization for the guns aka customize them as you want for them and customize the church was my favorite Because who customizing the church was same way as you do in scarface the world is yours when you customize your mansion and I'm glad that we build Planet saints in the game and the whole town is all western like red dead redemption
The only things I didn't like about it was that when you take over a district from a rival gang is that you do all the collectibles in the city district your taking over aka finding drug packages and take photos of things and hidden history of town I didn't mind buying 1 item from a store and the threats and the empire business we build in the area we build in I didn't like how we act in the game and our friends I didn't like how we recruited our saints involving with a murder circus I preferred canonizing I didn't like that when you take over the rival gang district and have your saints walk the streets and you can't recruit them to follow you and protect you from enemies you had to use them as a ability which was lame
I agree with this assessment in terms of story, but I think the gameplay loops got pretty fun while the story declined. I don’t think I was ever bored in sr4. I didn’t really see that one as a saints row because it was so far off the reservation, I saw it as a great superhero simulator lol 😂
Saints row 2 was perfection, the story, the gangs, the characters, music was top notch everything was good,if they remake the game with better graphics and fps they have one of the best games ever made
It's sad, but back then people hated SR4 but personally I would've preferred if they just continued the story after killing Zinyak as opposed to the Reboot. If you enjoyed it then more power to you but as an OG fan who's 100%'d SR2 more times than I can count, I felt disrespected after I played the Reboot lmao
If you like your games violent, dark, and gritty the first 2 are what you're looking for. 3 and 4 definitely made a tonal change for something more humorous but are still pretty awesome games on their own.
Facts💯 i was soo pised mfs really tried to convince me to play SR4 and Gat outta Hell. They looked nothing like the SR I grew up playing I had no interest at all‼️
Gat out of hell was tragic and shit, but at least try SR4 it's different but it's a hit or miss game, for me and many others its actually fun as fuck, I thought it would be shit since I grew up playing saints row aswell but I gotta say, it's not that bad, actually pretty fun.
Once you got the sr4 try the loyalty missions of everyone on the ship. They were really great and it opened their personality of what they really are. I personally like matt Miller and shaundi loyalty mission. We see matt Miller just like any ordinary teenagers. And shaundi fighting her past self and hating on it, and at the end she accepted her past self and moved on.
Saints row's 3rd that mission where you jumping out of plane and you falling down also shooting bad guys, also the background music, Power by Kanye, the best combination of game history ❤
4and Gat out of hell deserves more credit than they get, if not for their gameplay, then for the respect they show to their own franchise that the reboot actively refuses to give. So many call backs, cameos, and actual closure for these characters. They really are love letters to Saints Row as a whole and should be treated as such.
I don't know it's as correct As It Gets the first two are masterpieces 3 is alright and then the rest just go downhill that Hill is so steep the Saints Row 3 engine got stuck on some Watch Dogs and fortnite and walked out as the reboot
Look, I know SR 4 and GOoH aren't everyone's cup of tea, but you can't deny, those 2 games are still miles and miles better than reboot and you can still have tons of fun in em
I started with SR1 then went straight to 3 and 4, finally got a copy of SR2 couple years ago, by far SR2 is the best game in the series, it took everything from 1 and mastered it down to last detail 👌🏼
I absolutely loved that game, I remember being banned from playing it when I was younger until I found an old disk I dropped behind a radiator, game still worked.
Gat out of hell was pretty enjoyable when i played it about 6 years ago. I loved flying around because it was pretty satisfying. SR3 will still be my favorite, tho. Met some of my best friends that i still talk to because of that game.
