Saints Row 4 has 4 separate choices in the game (excluding DLC), unlike in Saints Row 3 though, they have no impact on the Story whatsoever. If you pick the red door in Saints Row IV, you'll get an achievement. This is one of two missable achievements in Saints Row 4, you get the other achievement by completing all loyalty missions.
Saints Row IV is the conclusion to the Saints Row series. The head of the Third Street Saints is now the leader of the free world-but it's not all drone strikes and drunken interns. Earth has been invaded by galactic overlord Zinyak and it's up to you, the Boss, to free your fellow Americans (and everybody else) from the virtual hell in which they've been imprisoned.

2:15 Zinyak wasn't wrong. The Boss is Earth's biggest threat to Humanity. From SR1 to SR3, The Boss created chaos to gain control of Stilwater & Steelport. I mean Julius said it himself, 'The playa was reckless & uncaring. Left a wake of bodies pointing right back at us. Think more of the city was destroyed than saved in the end. Sure the Saints were taking over, but at what cost? I couldn't risk letting a sociopath run things. So I did what I had to do. Never thought the b*stard would survive the explosion'.

@@StillND exactly I wouldn’t say that the playa/boss was THE biggest threat to humanity the playa was really only doing order from Julius but aside from sr3 he really could only cause chaos in that city not humanity as where as zinyak ended humanity in a matter of seconds I think the playa did a huge favor to what was everyone on earth

Choices, although limited, were a good addition to the Saints Row: The Third. In Saints Row IV they're even more than pointless as driving a car when you fully upgraded Super Sprinting and Gliding.

when he said 'how many times have you driven on the sidewalk instead of the street?' I both got chills, and immediately knew where to go. But I always wondered what was in the red door. Kiiiinda disappointing that it's just a game over instead of a cutscene, but still

In my head cannon he was just busy managing the empire and he had special liking to humanity (thus he's famous ppl collection). He like to shit with saints and underestimated them. That was his downfall. Also, robo... I mean power armor

Yea i was kinda thinking a way on how to incorporate The Playa/Boss being president and fighting against gangs so i was thinking of gangs have been created in Washington DC cuz let's be honest the Playa would make a shitty president so then you have to clean them out. But im not sure how i can incorporate it with murdering innocent civilians for fun though

Oh boy. Saints Row IV. This game is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. I love the super powers, the references to past games, the music, the simulations, the weapon upgrades and customization… It’s almost for the same reasons I love Saints Row 2 but SR4 doesn’t really get too dark. I mean blowing up the earth and killing 7 billion people? You would think that’s darker than tricking Maero into crushing Jessica, or burying Shogo alive, but not really. SR2 Stilwater felt alive, full of detail, the NPCs would comment about the things you’ve done like setting shivington on fire or taking down a gang. And the activities and collectibles and diversions are what make it super fun. I mean Saints Row 4 has super powered activities and it was kind of fun collecting every single cluster…but once you beat it all and finish the game…what next? My biggest gripe with 3 and 4 is that I can’t replay the missions. Lastly, I like to believe that 4 is all just a weird movie made by the Saints-Ultor media group. Or better yet, just the boss getting high like in that one video you made of how SR4 should have really started.

If I played SR4 and was given the option of curing cancer or world hunger, I would’ve done the Curing Cancer option, in honor of Technoblade. Rest In Peace to him, btw.

I like the fact that Saints Row IV addresses the fact that the Boss, being an extension of the player's need for destructive fun, is a sociopath who is actually one of if not THE biggest threat to everyone around him.

Saints Row 4 honestly should of being its own stand-alone game. I don't have any evidence for this but I truly believe this was meant to be its own thing, but someone in corporate wanted a quick buck and slap the Saints Row name on it.

Either way, Alex Mendoza is my favorite Hispanic Saints Row boss that I wished they brought him in Saints Row The Third and IV and Gat Outta Hell

It's a fun, awesome game!! But SR4 doesn't have tht gang / criminal aspect anymore since you're fighting aliens & trying to save what's left of Humanity. SR4 still has the addictive combat, story, characters, character creation & funny humor. The only downside is tht SR4 doesn't feel like an open world game with the super powers. It won't take at least 15 mins to explore all of fake Steelport. And cars are useless. I reccomend it!! But if you want tht criminal / gang aspect, then no. It's up to you, tbh.

Edit:The Red door choice probably The happy ending of SR no GoOh Exist,Not even AoM... Zinyak trying to execute The boss from the beginning when he was trying to escape from the ship you can hear that Zinyak command his Soldier to preparing The execution for the President that means your character... And trying to lure you again with some Blue door and Red door... Since Zinyak literally Fear with Playa too but he pretend he didn't afraid with him if he's not fear with Playa he should not show some of his old crime.
