man Boros was such a fucking menace. I'm glad he did not call out Boros regeneration as marble like 99% of the reactors that apparently don't read the dialogues. Saitama says "maybe" because in all honestly he can't be sure of how strong all of his enemies were, he's just too strong compared to them.
Yes finally i don't like it when creators reacting to Boros thinking he had a marble when he regenerates because people need to pay attention to his speech about himself, his species, and his own abilities because Boros's regeneration works by using his latent energy in his body to speed up his already fast healing factor exponentially
saitama is like if you could deal 999 dmg and hit a enemy with 10 hp then one with 50 you cant really tell the difference since they both died in 1hit you just gotta guess which was stronger
Absolutely nothing Boros says contradicts him having a marble core that keeps him alive. All his energy can be within that core. When he’s blown apart all you see is normal blood splatter. His power isn’t stored all over his body. The crack when he’s finally defeated clearly indicates that he’s similar to the guy on the ground who the S class heroes beat. It’s 100% obvious and you’re just making up your own narrative that contradicts what we actually see.
"You're still conscious? You really are strong." Bro that's like ultimate power flex, praising opponent for being concious after devastating defeat. It's like you have to be on world destroying power level JUST to stay conscious after inevitable defeat against Saitama, that's how strong the dude is
Saitama is so incredibly far above all of his enemies that he has no idea how strong one is compared to another. So if he calls someone strong, that means they're WAY above all the others.
Fun fact at 13:44 this is the same hearbeat that Saitama got when He was fighting in his dream which implies that Boros had one of the best fight of his life and Saitama Serious punch never connected to boros He died bc of the Friction of the air from his punch.
There were a couple lines in the manga translation I read that I loved, but they're subbed differently in the anime. They were from Boros, just before he died. "You never bared your fangs even once, did you?" "Prophecies are bullshit."

Thus her exclusion from this particular list. 😁 Speaking of "So I'm a Spider, So What?" the Light Novels are fantastic and it's a massive shame we probably won't get another season because of the production issues with season 1. The events a season 2 would cover (even if only 12-13 eps) are insane and I'm pretty sure would hook everyone for the rest of the story. The LN series is a completed story with 16 volumes.
Clearly that child at the end with the pot leaf on his shirt is Shaggy Rogers as a child. This is where he saw Saitama's true power and was inspired to get his own similar power.
Amai Mask actually can take most of S class in a one on one fight. The only ones that would beat/give him trouble are Blast(duh), Tatsumaki(duh) Bang, Flashy Flash, Watchdog Man, Metal Knight, and of course.....King.
Honestly he only beats lower level s-class heroes like puri puri prisoner, and tank top master but amai mask would definitely not be able to beat superalloy darkshine, zombieman, and metal bat because they show insane feats later in the manga
@@sawyerjohnston2544 I'm aware of those feats and I'll amend that they could give him trouble, but I think Amai would beat those three. Metal Bat does boast insane fighting power when beat up but Amai specializes in one hit attacks so if he hit as hard as he could from the beginning, Metal Bats fighting spirit wouldn't get revved up. Darkshine, well I am relatively sure Amai would break his confidence and we know what that does. And Zombieman would win EVENTUALLY if Amai kept fighting, but Amai wouldn't let the fight keep going, he would beat him once and walk away. The reason I believe this is simply because since Amai is an executive he knows everyone's strengths and weaknesses. Compare this to the other I mentioned before; Bang is just too skilled, Flashy is just too fast, Watchdog Man is......we still don't know but no, Amai isn't taking him out, Metal Knight is all about artillery and there's not much Amai could do to that and King......I don't need to say.

We’ll never know for sure, but I always saw the sky splitting behind Saitama as being from Boros’ attack. It would be weird for saitama’s attack to narrow as it came back around the earth.
@@sawyerjohnston2544 That’s obvious. The sky specifically behind Saitama looks like it was from Boros though. Together they circled the earth. Just judging by the shape of the clouds parting.
@@yozarian86 actually you are right, the clouds being split behind saitama was as of a result of saitama's Serious Punch splitting boros's Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon into two separately beams of energy.

Yes, and even so he didn't enjoy it, he was serious throughout the fight and if you look closely the action always focuses on Boros, since the fight is his.

To me he can't tell if this guy was stronger because to him he was nothing special. Saitama just wanted to give Boros the thing he was searching for, the same exact thing Saitama himself wants, a challenging fight, and while he couldn't get one himself at least Boros got one before he died.

Yes, Boros was really strong. If not for Saitama, Boros could have destroyed the planet. The only one who could give him a fight is Tatsumaki. And I'm not sure who is stronger Boros or Tatsumaki. Because Tatsumki was not fighting here at full strength... with her very first move, she jammed every weapon on the ship, effectively making any resistance impossible. After that, she quite casually was destroying the ship, she wasn't fighting for her life or anything like that. Boros, however, fought with all his might. So don't think that Boros is stronger than her.
@@sawyerjohnston2544 Why are we even having this conversation then? Boros has shown NOTHING that puts him "miles" ahead of Tatsumaki. Tatsumaki tanked a continental-level attack without any visible damage when she was already wounded. Boros' final blast should theoretically be capable of destroying a planet's surface. In practice, however, it was much more modest. And you're telling me he's "miles" stronger than her? Bruh. Give me a break.
Season 2 done by different studio, and it did poorly. I'd say so poorly that the manga artist who drew using author's stories created his own studio for season 3.
Just want to piont out that the Saitima/Boros fight is what most Dragonball Z fights are like. The issue with Dragonball Z is that the fights are massively drawn out. Think some arcs are like 40 episodes just to defeat one guy. It's still good but if you decide to watch be aware of the pacing. Dragonball Super is better in my opinion.
The prophecy never meant Saitama, but another character, which is why the redraw and entire change of the G... fight is abysmal at best. It lost the soul of story.
Not mentioning spoilers for the obvious reason, but it was much better aside from the worse effectiveness of the character's fighting style due to body changes, and the obvious awful end. But the actual lead up and fight is way better.
