This has been the most enjoyable Gridline for me since dropping, and the comedic beats throughout the battle make it a favorite for me. It was awesome working on this

I was really excited for this battle when the audio was released in the Thanksgriding album, and this didn’t disappoint. Fightmarker did really good with the editing because this is my new favorite Gridline battle when it comes to visuals! The start of Saitama’s first verse where Falcon kept trying to Falcon Punch was hilarious!

My favorite move on Captain Falcon's Smash moveset has GOT to be "Falcon Fucking Kill You!" It kinda sucks though, considering that he gets Falcon Fucking Killed himself most of the time when I use it, glad to see such an iconic move represented in a rap battle! (Actually though this was really great! All of the little visual gags were hilarious, mainly Falcon constantly punching Saitama and failing miserably. Very enjoyable battle! Keep showing us your moves!)

As the biggest Captain Falcon fan in the community, I absolutely love this battle so much. I think this is the only Captain Falcon battle so far that has truly made Captain Falcon Captain Falcon. I absolutely love the dynamic in this battle where Falcon is taking this insanely seriously and acting insanely cheesey and such, while Saitama is just bored out of his mind lmao. Like, Saitama could just say the more basic line ever in the most bored way and Falcon acts like Saitama just murdered his family or something LMAO, I love it. 10/10, great battle and I am so happy that Captain Falcon finally got a good battle

Gridline stands out so much from the rest of FRB to me in the best way possible I don't know WHAT it is about this channel in particular but it's always such a breath of fresh air for me,, amazing stuff again Tibbs and the rest!! F-Zero was a SNES racing game a few years before Super Mario Kart. Years later after the Nintendo GameCube, there have been many MK sequels but F-Zero has only MK Cameos and Smash Bros only has Captain Falcon but all other F-Zero characters have trophy references in Smash Bros. So that line referencing Mario Kart hit the hardest.

Jay Chay was always the idea for the body actor, I initially had flecks do it because of their history with the role, however after filming it made sense to me to make Jay Chay the voice as well. He had the right voice tone and to no surprise his own voice matches his acting better. Simply it was why not have it be Jay Chay.
