Saitama is teaching a lesson. He has the ability to kill, knockout, or hurt his opponent depending on his true intent. If he intends to kill monster they die normally in one punch. It's why he only hurt rover. He thought it was someone's pet. Saitama wants him awake for a lesson.

Don't get me wrong, it would be funny as fuck and im sure someone has already, but this is an interesting and fairly sensible take on how the fight could go. It's like that "DBZ characters can blow up the planet so they beat any verse" argument. It's out of character. Saitama doesn't think killing humans is right and Sukuna at least appears human despite the flaming arrow and physicality n whatnot.
