Regarding the section where you discuss the name of the band and the provocation it sometimes causes. Here are my two cents, for what they're worth: The name does not do justice to the awesome scope of your music. I understand that changing the band's name at this point would be the equivalent of starting a new band, but back when I was getting into metal in the early 2000's, I was one of those people who would never have been sold on your band with a name like that. I was already quite wary and tired of the insipid satanic pretensions that inhabit so much of the metal ethos. I'm of the general opinion that you don't have to agree with an artist to admire their work, but with certain bands, like Deicide and Immolation, the message is so in-your-face it's inextricable from their music. So I assumed that a band called "Rotting Christ" would be just as jejune with it's anti-religious themes. But that was before I actually heard what you guys sounded like. I hung out with a metalhead friend of mine who operated a game room on our campus, and he happened to be playing "Genesis", which entranced me so utterly I felt compelled to check you guys out. When I looked over some of the lyrics available online, I found they were mystical, introverted, and philosophical, and nothing at all like Deicide. So I went ahead and acquired a copy of Genesis. Then Sanctus Diavolus, Khronos, A Dead Poem, etc. In short, I went through your entire discography pretty quickly, because I couldn't get enough of you guys, and so I kept up with your current releases. I've now seen you live 3 times, twice in New England, and once in San Francisco. I'm a big fan to this day, though it's easy to give people who haven't heard of you the wrong impression, even about me, when I say I listen to Rotting Christ.
