Sako is an impressive manufacturer! Looks like a fantastic match/hunting rifle. Very impressed to see the 270 Winchester. A terrific 90 year old cartridge. Anything built on a 3006 case is a real world capable cartridge.

Very nice rifle. Is that a Steiner GS3 4-20x50 scope? Have had the GS3 on a Tikka T3 Lite in .270 and really liked that combo. Thanks.

The ranger line does not exist here in the states, however believe this appears to be the equivalent of the something like the H4Xi 4-16x56 hunting riflescopes here (illuminated reticle, etc.). I see on the Sako website that the new Sako 85 Black Wolf Rifle does not come in .270 anymore....Did you acquire yours previous to the current line of Sako 85s? Thanks again.

Thr black wolf is awesome but unnecessary. You would get more bang for your buck getting the cheapest sako 85 and dropping it into a grs stock, that is what the black wolf basically is

tiputipu777 I completely agree with that statement. I was thinking the same thing. As a matter of fact, you get more adjustability out of the GRS stock, like height of recoil pad.

High enough mounts jesus christ? shells actually look like they fly out to the side like they re supposed to.ridiculous having a scope that high above the barrel.... no wonder his cheek piece is jacked all the way up...did they change the extractor position yet?? Every Sako ive shot has had high mounts and they re terrible! Faultess Sako bolt??? lol smooth yeah when the shell isnt being ejected into the scope

Because you saw a video on youtube and you are now the expert on all things Sako. Idiots always seem to be the loudest too. My two 85s are flawless as well. I guess they didn’t see the video that made you an expert.
