Program Notes
Sakura Song is a 2012 All Japan Band Competition Test Piece. Since then it has been performed by bands, chamber groups, instrumental and vocal solos. I am grateful it has been widely accepted and enjoyed.
It has been ten years since its publication. The use of this work has also changed over the years. This specific edition is available as a flexible work from large ensemble to full band.
