Loved this anime so much. There were a million little things that made it so great, but one of my favorite ones was how the the last episode ended with this song. I don't know why, but it just felt "right" to end with this one rather than the second ending song.
Dark Crow I I read some of the LN and I think it's better without a second season. I don't like the way the story goes from the finish of the first season.
This may come across as just another romcom anime to most people. But trust me, its so much more than that. This show tells a story that many people can relate to and get inside the shoes of the charaters. Myself included. My life has definitely been a reflection of this show. I for one, always loved to draw. And just like Rita, there was a Mashiro in my life too. And i couldn't match up to that person regardless of the effort i put in behind every pencil stroke. Which eventually made me give up on drawing all together. But watching this show last year, made me have an epiphany. I dont draw because i want it to be better than everyone else. I draw because I simply loved to draw. And once again little by little I started getting back to drawing. So I am immensely greatful to this show for filling a void inside me I've had for quite some time. Idk i just wanted ti get this out somewhere. Thank you for listening

I get pressured and stressed, to the point where i can't get any progress. it annoys me, and I felt bad about myself. But not only with gaming, School aswell. Math is my most favorite subject, i get to competitions every year. Back in 2019, my teacher gave me and my classmates a quiz (you get additional points when you get 15+ score) When the time was ticking, i was so pressured that i can't think of anything. I got 13. it stressed me and made me feel bad about myself. Time is really my archnemesis.

@TheJuan I don't think they could top this. A season 2 must at least hold up to the hype that the original generated. The quality must be as good and that takes a lot of work, a lot of thought and effort. Making an anime is a labor of love, not just to make money. When it is forced, or demanded things can go sour. If the anime writers want to make a season 2 and want to make it the best possible, then I would love to see it come true, but I am happy with the 24 episode anime we've got now. That's longer than most slice of life anime series like this one. But to be honest I just don't think something like this could be done again. It was a beautiful accident.
3 years later, and this anime still leaves me with a feeling of nostalgia. Every OP and ED of Sakurasou fills me with it. Like I shared my childhood with these characters; which we sort-of did as viewers. I still remember dreading the fact that that final episode number was coming closer :(
Just the RAW ESSENCE of what this anime portrays is what made it brilliant! Life, can get boring, change in the blink of an eye, kick you in the knackers and run off with your wallet. It's inspirational too, I mean, everyone here (in the anime) failed at their dreams more than once, yet they manage to get up and catch up to where they used to be and push the limits even further. Be ambitious, seize the opportunity and live each day as if it was your last. Honestly, I can't put it in words!I defy someone to find another anime as good as this one; trust me, I've seen a lot of animes, this one's the best one so far (for me at least.

this shows how unfair and harsh life can be, some anime gets season 2, some don,'t good animes never got season two, while the bad one got season 2, season 3, season 4, season 5

I specially loved the scene where Sorata and the others run along with the fireworks, the scene where Mashiro says "Is this... I got Post-Anime Depression Syndrome from this anime; and I'm the sort of bloke who doesn't show much feeling at all. It made me laugh, cry; everything it should. It should make you FEEL with it, not just know what's going on
I really can't describe why but despite this song sounding happy it has always had an underlying melancholy behind it, even from the first time I heard it.
I know I'm a litte late, but I feel that too. For me, the melacholy comes from a different time. A time where I was deep in struggle but now, I'm looking back seeing that I survived and pulled through. This serves as the credits to a harder time in my life. At the same time, I remember the times I had with a group of friends I no longer have. I remember that happniness I carved out of nothing back then. That's where than melacholy comes from. But at the same time. this song reminds me of the time I spent fighting through the bad times. It reminds me of an old quote: "If you're going through Hell, keep going."
Dante Dawg I loved Sakurasou after watching the very first episode, after that i just couldn't stop watching, in the episode 12 Sakurasou turned into my number 1 anime trust me i saw a lot of good animes but no one it's like this one
Dante Dawg and one thing that suprise me the most it's that Sakurasou it's the most request anime for 2nd season i think, because whenever i watch Sakurasou videos most of the comments are about a 2nd season that makes me kind of happy
This anime is such an inspiration, it has changed my life also, cuz I was aimless , everyday I only loung around , but after I have watched this anime, I started to realize that the meaning of life and how great it feels to achieve something even though the process is painful, and sometimes maybe your hard work doesn't paid off,but gradually you will find your way to success. This anime is one of the main inspirations to pursue my dream on music, after one and a half year, I will be graduated from high school and I know lots of things are waiting for me, no matter it's the downfall of my life or the great success of my career , I know I am not going to give up, this anime is the savior of my life, Fruit of patient is always sweet
I last heard this song years upon years ago, I just remembered this existed and came to hear it. I immediately started humming the whole song just by instinct, I somehow remembered the entire song just from the first few notes even though I hadn't heard it in a very, VERY long time. HELL, I could even remember the Japanese words that they sang in some parts of the song, and I started to sing along. That is how much this anime impacted me and explains how amazing and nostalgic this ending is to me. God tier anime right here. There hasn't been another romcom anime like Sakurasou yet, in my opinion. And yes, I cried countless times, especially when they graduated.
My favorite scene is when they swim into the school pool and the guard chase them then this song start playing while they're running in the middle of the night that's my favorite scene in sakurasou no pet na kanojo
That scene is really good, in that moment it seems everyone is happy and there is nothing to worry about, when they are running the fireworks begin and the music make this scene very beautiful and exciting.

This anime reflects my life, I was pretty normal but became a nobody(caused my my former addiction to gaming), I find it really hard to get back on track and start enjoying my still short life while I can but step by step it's getting better. I started programming, gained good friends and party with them and stuff. I am glad I saw this anime and I am glad it was ever made. Tbh, I did cry at episode 23 😂. alltheusernamesarealreadytaken Unfortunately from what ive heard the vast majority of people would rather shoot their own kneecaps off than have a second season based off the rest of the story XD. Maybe if they could make a second season with an independent story or something.
This anime changed my life, in middle school I used to be a full time gamer playing around 18-22 hours a day and stayed up until 3-4 am, because of that I never cared about doing my homework or studying I was just focused on my games and I wound up getting D's and F's on my tests and homework's. I was shy and sucked at every sport I also thought of myself as useless, in reality I just never tried to do any of these things so, I did. A couple months later I got A's and B's sometimes C's cause I still slack off (I'm in high school now), but there was always a person better than me It never really bothered me though I just had to try harder. And I started doing archery hoping I'll get good at it. :)

As much as I absolutely adore this series, it would be a disservice to give it another season. The ending was perfect and avoided a lot of the cliches a lot of anime in this genre have. Another season would take away from the emotional impact of the ending, i think.
here2there4life If I remembered correctly, its 6 volume, and the ending for season 1 is the beginning for volume 7( Sorry if I'm wrong). Its not exactly volume seven, so if they were to adapt season 2, maybe its a 12-episode series, since there are only 3 volume left.
you probably know more than i do haha, but i feel that animes usually maintain consistency in the lengths of their seasons. You won't usually see a 12 episode sequel to a 24 episode anime. Also, I just googled this but, apparently this series is set to contain 13 volumes total, since it was announced that the volume after 12 would be the final volume and the conclusion to the series so that may be just enough to cover for a 2nd season and it shouldn't be too far off from now.
personally one of my favorite songs from an anime. And this anime was amazing most rom coms are. But the way everyones relationships intertwined and how they helped each other reach goals. I just thought that whoever thought up this I would love to thank them. And amazing music as well .
Im a guy and this anime made me cry and not too many things make me cry and this has to be my favourite anime my waifu now is shiina after those 24 episodes keep rewatching where shiina goes to the train station and when shiina kisses mashiro on the check gawd when i was at boring old school all i wanted to do was watch this and shiina being a yandere is epic

Ohtori Sakuya Yeah but the show, even its not as sad, is just so beautifully written, you'll shed a tear. I recently re-saw a specific scene which i had forgotten about and it hit me like a truck.
hyunjong1997 Fair enough I guess. I can totally see where you're coming from. Though personally I found Little Busters and Angel Beats to be even sadder than Clannad was (mostly because I was badly spoiled on what happened at the end of After Story, so that ruined a lot of the emotional impact for me). Still I think the baseball scene at the end of Little Busters Refrain is the saddest scene I've ever seen in any anime. I cried like a baby while reading/watching it.
I watched this anime because of a short video on youtube showing Mashrio being adorable. I got about 15-20 sec in before I stopped so I wouldn't spoil anymore, and I went and watched the anime over the course of two days. I absolutely loved this anime!
If they were going to make season 2, they need to have a different ending. I dug around for the LN and god, it was such a bad end. ***** Toradora is not as good as Sakurasou (I loved Toradora too, so it's not meant as hate, but just the fact Sakurasou is way better) and Golden time? Meh, it was okay, a bit different, which was really cool, but Sakurasou was on a whole other level, up till now you won't find any romcom that can match Sakurasou, yet there's still a ton of other great anime out there! If you're into horror, I'll highly recommend Corpse Party, though you would probably read the manga (all of them) and play the games (at least blood covered) first. It's the only series that's higher than Sakurasou on my top 100 list.
Mads Trudslev I never said Toradora was better than Sakurasou i actually agree with you that its better its just that toradora was my first really good romcom and is what started my new found love for romantic comedy lol. Toradora brought me to Golden Time and Golden Time brought me to Sakurasou, so i was just suggesting to watch the animes that brought me to Sakurasou
The two last episodes made me kind of wanted to cry but on the same time the fact that they didn't demolish Sakurasou made me pretty happy. This was one of the best animes i've ever seen and this song makes it better.
FOR THOSE WHO WANT SEASON 2!!! Read the Light Novel! You will NEVER wish for Season 2. The rest is a huge disappointment. The Anime is MUCH better than the original Light Novel. The writers of the anime version took a mediocre thing and developed it into a masterpiece. The Ending of anime is the BEST ending you could get. If you don't trust me, read the Light Novel. You'll realize why people don't want season 2.
Still the most meaningful music to be heard of...The music kinda gives us message that "No matter how hard life throws at you Learn not to give up" because things doesnt always goes what you wanted. But we have to enjoy life as we go.
