How many people do you think have started projects in show business that never come to fruition? Probably 90% of all ideas. You have a unique perspective to Howard because of his platform where he talks freely about everything. Howard has probably been one of the most successful people to stick to a specific type of media.

@@alanmartino5488I agree. In the 90s, Howard always spoke of movie roles, tv shows etc that he turned down because he didn’t want to audition, or he didn’t like the script… then he produced Son of a Beach. I think he was guilty of thinking he had an acting career.

Sal, Gary, Ronnie and a couple other staff members thought Howard was wayyyy more famous then he actually was. No doubt Stern was famous, but most people are just aware of Howard Stern as a shock jock and that’s about it. If you went out and asked 10 people who Jackie Martling, or Gary Dell’abate was MAYBE 1 or 2 of those people would know who they were. Outside of NYC I’d be surprised if that many knew.
