Spot On. Very Honest Review. Resonated with my opinions. I went to theatre with very low expectations to feel better if it delivered at least an average experience. But felt like rewatching KGF and climax plot twist felt like SAAHO. Few elevation scenes are good. The logic of guns not fired can be excused since it's ceasefire, but Prabhas not getting punched even once is too much to handle. Prabhas' body looked great but facial features are gone. Everything else felt like a bloated KGF template...

Felt like rewatching Ugram,KGF,Mirchi,Bahubali,Chatrapathi....but nice to see Prabhas in action avatar after a long time...if you say Pathan,Jawaan,Leo,animal were hits then you can definitely say Salaar a super hit😁

Just Watched SALAAR, It has 4-5 pure goosebumps moments and who cares about comparison to KGF, It served my purpose of getting entertained for 3 hrs without looking at my watch. At the end I was curious about how the questions answered in part 2 🦕🦕🦖🔥

Best review i have seen. Most of my friends who watched the movie are riding the hype train, but it's just a good-looking prabas in a Ballaya movie with infinite obvious hype. I personally feel it should have been set up in a separate word with only kansaar story. avoiding the first half hype train.

I wanted to see this man's review on Saaho People when given deep screenplay and story like Saaho , 1 Nenokkadine : we need entertainment and action , story should be easily understood for layman. When given action and drama like Salaar : we need story and logic etc

Salaar for me worked for the theater experience and for the protagonist elevations. The editing was also good combined with BGM and Cinematography. Obviously I went with knowing there will be some loose ends not covered in this part, and director will make the audience to wait for second part. Did this part worked for me and made it a satisfactory - YES, Did I walk in expecting it to be in KGF format - YES, Was I still fascinated coming out of the theater experience- YES, Will I binge watch in home when it is in OTT - YES (to understand the Khansaar tribes and for some of the elevations) Will I compare with KGF template scene to scene wise - NO

Yes some scenes are reminiscent of the KGF , mainly kids scene and some of the elevation scenes. But the movie is very good in its own way. Best Prabhas movie after Bahubali.

Maybe we should also consider that there is part - 2 coming and the reason why people are soo scared will be revealed in part - 2. And few scenes at Port shows why they are scared. Yes, as you said, cake scene doesn't make much sense, but if you think from mother's perspective, it is her fear or call it grief which made her react that way. I felt there need not be soo many characters or some characters should have been introduced in part - 2 of they are really necessary. Other than that, this just looked like an introduction of the characters and prepare a ground for part - 2.

I can completely relate to this review. The entire first half is just an introduction of characters. Although they have done well in the second half to transition us to the main plot, there are a lot of inconsistencies. The excessive elevations and forced emotions mean the movie turned out to be mediocre

Saw the movie yesterday bro ! Y neel mawa , why ? Kgf , ugram re release chesi , nenu adhi theatre lo chusi unte inka ekkuva high Ochedi Naaku than this borefest of a movie salaar ! Nothing new really , all the elevation scenes we have seen before , the movie is too dark , dark ante not that dark , you need a torch to watch 🤦🏼‍♂️ first asalu emi ledhu , second half is a 140 p version of KGF and chatrapathi 🤦🏼‍♂️ except for a fight sequence and couple of dialogues there is nothing much in borefest . That BGM was so frustrating , the screen gets blacked out repeatedly as the director feels this will increase the elevation but please it was such a headache ! Please save your money !
