This deck is so damn fun now. As an enjoyer of all things phoenix, I am very glad to get to play this with the new support.
I changed the decklist a lot, even going up to 50 cards cause I wanted some more hand traps (like D.D. Crow) but I tried shaving off some cards by the end. I don't care to HAVE to play 40 cards so I went over to have some Crossout targets and whatnot, but I tried to make sure I had more engine than not while still being able to go second with some of the non-engine.
With the Salamangreat of Fire 1 card combo and no extenders, I can at minimum set up Wolf recursion, Pyro field wipe (with Code of Soul), Promethean in GY (which can choose to destroy Sprind, triggering EM:P Meowmine to return a card to hand), and Raging Phoenix returning for follow-up plays.
With enough extenders I can have Gazelle set up a trap on top of the base combo line. Weasel's draw can also be very impactful in getting me hand traps, follow-up, or a trap I didn't reach.
Oh yeah, Fire Recovery is really sick. I love this card. As if Salamangreat didn't need even more ways to reborn and recover resources, am I right?
