Salary of a Pathologist MD by Dr. Amna Qureshi 

Average salary for pathologists are around 200-300k I guess.

Is clinical pathology only , is a good residency option considering somone wants to go for hematopathology/ blood bank transfusion medicine? And an img can he get job after residency considering visa status and everything. Thankyou so much doc for taking time to reply

@@theorangecandle do you know how much money a medical graduate have to pay back on student loans? And what’s the annual insurance cost especially here in NE USA. My wife is an MD and my daughter is a pathologist, trust me it’s not for the faint hearted. You’re looking at the total salary and not discounting the taxes and cost of living and the many years you’re making just around the $55k-$65k before you finish residency working 12-14 hours 6 to 7 days in some cases. The reality is only MDs know what it takes to be one. Thx

@@dukea4580as an MD myself I love my salary 😂 You absolutely work harder than any other profession but you get huge pays as well Also note clinical practices makes over a mil in a lot of medical fields so if you actually want to work hard you can make bank
